Topped up and ready to go, this wireless modem dongle comes pre-loaded with the data allowance - simply plug it in to your computer and surf the net. When you run out of data, simply purchase a Top-Up and convert it to the add-on of your choice.

Compact - fits right into your pocket

Perfect for use on the go - no need to search for a Wi-Fi hotspot

No wires, installation or software needed

To work- turn on your mobile Wi-Fi dongle, switch on connection to the Three network and select the Wi-Fi function. Then just choose the Wi-Fi option on the device that you are using

MiFi works with anything Wi-Fi enabled - connect to your iPod touch or iPad and download music, watch TV or browse the web.

Brand: Three
Download speed: Up to 7.2 mbps
Compatibility: PC & Mac

It is a good deal BUT not for me, it was the V2 though... I understand this one is abit buggy BUT will do the job for some - the 3gb is worth 7ish quid so total really about 26 for the mifi

I got one of these a while back - works a treat, although the main annoyance I had was that you had to turn on the device, and then separately turn on the Wifi and 3G - the v2 (which I now also have) does all three automatically.

Voted hot, as I reckon it's still a great piece of kit for the money. You'll pay £100 extra for an iPad with 3G, for example, whereas this will let you do exactly the same, plus you can connect multiple devices at the same time.

Possibly of interest to some - this is relatively easy to unlock, and you can update the firmware so that it does auto-connect, and you can access the local console etc. I use mine if I'm on holiday - last time I was in Spain, I got a spanish PAYG sim for 20 euros, with 20 euros credit - and this gave me 200Mb downloads per day for 3 euros, so it lasted all week. Somewhat cheaper than roaming data charges...

Looks a good deal to me. Voted hot and ordered one. Why the cold votes???

It's a good deal for this but I know many just use tethering on their android 2.2 mobile phones (eg HTC Desire or even Wildfire now) to do the same thing for free- the data on these Mifis generally only last a month I think.

Cold? Find a cheaper price then!
This is HOT

The 3gb that comes with it lasts 3 months, then a new card with another 3gb can be bought on amazon for £7.50 again lasting for 3 months

Got mine, unlocked it and opened up the web UI with a f/w upgrade. Shoved in my Voda PAYG non-expiring SIM and changed the AP settings. Great product and a great find. Thanks again!

Any chance of some pointers for unlocking it?
