This is my first post so please dont shoot me down if I have posted incorrectly.

I know Butlins does not suit everyone, but each to their own. I have just booked a 3 night break at Minehead for 1 adult, 1 Child and an infant half board for just £67.63 - Its 13th to 16th February which means this counts as term time as most schoold dont break up until the 13th, and the price goes up a whopping £103 if you add an extra adult!

However I think this is great value short break if you are a single parent, or if like me your husband/partner cannot get time off work during half term. It works out approximately £20 each per day and that includes your food and plenty of free entertainment for the kids

**** Call 0800 107 0097 for free and well guarantee you exactly the same offers, information and advice. Plus, youll also receive an extra £5 off your booking when you phone. Please quote Phew! when calling! **** takes it down to just £62.63

i love butlins , but to be honest go on more of there ADULT weekends than kiddie hols,, going in 2 and half weeks to a 80s weekend ,, i can not knock there weekends ,, absolutely excellent.
i have been with a friend and my kids 4 years ago , and must sya the food is all you can eat buffets and is excellent for hungry kids, at breakfast we used to get rolls and butter and hard boiled eggs and make our lunch , so not to spend money lunch time either

hot from me there should be more deals for ppl who have to take the little ones away without their other halfs ! :-D
#14
Nice to see lone parent deals, as it often costs you more. I'm pretty certain Butlins used to charge the adult child price when taking children on their own.
#15
Thanks op. Im a premier club member, so should get another 5% off I think

Also, the website isnt working at the moment but will try again!
#16
Also, about same price at Butlins Bognor if Minehead too far
#17
Good deal but no good for me as I have a husband and 7 children hate to think what that would cost me!!!
#18
thats a pretty good price!!!

£135 for 3 night weekend for 2+2!!! and 2 rooms if you want to watch different chanels!!!

I've just tried agaian and its still showing same price.

I cant seem to write this without sounding patronising  - select minehead as resort, date is feb 09 - friday 13. Then select 3 night stay in next drop down box. select 1 adult and 1 child in 'who's in your paty' box. hit 'next'. Then select dinner bed and breakfast in 'chose your accomodation. then hit check availiability and then scroll page down to bottom and the one at the bottom of the page should be the cheapest - its in a red border

hope that helps

only for one adult - just take a sleeping bag for second adult. no-one ever checks.

yes but if its half board the other adult wont have anything to eat and the other adult wont have passes to get into the clubhouse at night

Yay, i just booked 2 rooms with 1+1, I did take the silver option though (i'll pay £10 extra for a shower) and came to £155. I love the Jeremy Kyle show with those zany ugly guests and fish fingers, chips and beans rule. I'm excited already and i haven't told the mrs yet.

hehe...from BitterWallet:

'Get more info from HotUKDeals. Prices and locations may vary. On-site entertainment may include performances from past/future X Factor contestants. Your children may be beaten up by a slightly feral child called Glen who doesn’t appear to have any adult supervision whatsoever.'

similar to the jeremy Kyle observation.
However, good deal for those who would take advantage of it.
