Great find, saves me looking for a decent hotel in England for the Wife's Birthday, upgraded from the basic package but still a good price.
#10
I'd rather jump on a plane be there in an hour and spend three days getting wrecked:thumbsup:
#11
i don't think this is as good an idea as you might think - you have to spend a lot of time on the ship and it is expensive to eat on there and the cains are not that great + you stay in a very basic hotel in amsterdam to get this price.

Wot he says.

Yeah it looks good at first but then I just end up having to agree with Danmc.

Still voted HOT though as it's a "smokin" deal!

When I did it I didnt get a night in a hotel, it took a day and half to get there and back. You slept on the boat.

Great deal, so long as the weather's good. If you hit rough weather, though, believe me it's horrendous on these ships because you're on them for more than 16 hours.

We used to use them a lot, but stopped when the ships started to get tatty. It was no longer an enjoyable experience to be on them (especially in rough weather) and we switched to going by air.

If you get good weather and don't mind what the ship's like, though, it's fantastic value.

Superb deal, we just managed to get 2 adults and 1 child for October Half Term for £255 and that was with upgrading to sea view rooms each way, for half term that's an incredible price.

Our journey to and from Newcastle will be about 7 hours though, might break it up with a cheap Travelodge on the route up there.

Can you tell me how you got this price. Best I can get for half term is £336

Maybe our half term week is different to yours?, our booking is for 28th October, and getting back October 31st

Just got £17.85 Quidco back too (already tracked).
