Excellent deal on flights! Anyone considering hotels should also consider apartments. We are driving over on business for ISE (an event at the RAI) so we booked a full house in North Amsterdam with free parking but there are plenty closer to the centre including house boats for around £100 per night if your budget stretches that far. We found "House Trip" the best site to find accommodation.

Good deal - though bring plenty of spending money,

Looks good.

We stayed in Hotel Monopole. Not the best but it's certainly suitable and in a perfect location on Rembrandt square! After all, the only time spent in the room was to sleep. Deffo going to take advantage of these flights! Thanks x

What's there to do in Amsterdam?

Does this come with a free red light pass ?

Amsterdam is great, but a little pricey (average 5 euro a pint or 8 at Dam square!). Worth it though. Fun to see the windows and coffeeshops, but it's history is what interests me the most, particularly WW2. Plus it's oddly beautiful. Can't wait to go back in February

Very friendly natives. You can't take a walk along some of the canals downtown without being into invited to rather spartan one room apartments by young ladies. I must have looked tired and I suppose they took pity on me. However all those I visited only let me stay about 20 minutes and wanted to borrow €60 as well! Poor things didn't look like they had much so how could I say no? Anyways don't suppose I'll ever see my €420 again so as I say - bring plenty of money.

There are now no £29.99 flights. All seem to be above £50 one way per person.

ensure that FlyBe do not scan for STD's on the return flight, your holiday will be extended indefinitely if they do ;)

€5 a pint isn't too bar. It equals £3.93 which isn't much more than pubs here.
