The BBC want more money from us?!
Firstly we play Tv License which goes to the BBC.
In return the "people's broadcaster" pumps constant right wing propaganda.

And now the want us to pay for Alan Partridge who should either be on iPlayer for free or constantly on gold.

Forgive my ignorant on this BBC store, but is there an app to watch this on a TV? - I've no interest watching on a phone, tablet or computer.

Won't support the BBC bias and their propaganda, they still refuse any form of debate on their actions during Scotlands independence referendum, they won't ever get a penny from me, EVER

Well said! The BBC is nothing but a liberal Left wing propaganda machine extorting money from the poor, criminalising 200 000 people a year for failing to meet its rapacious demands and then paying its execs - many of whom are ex Labour party a small fortune.

Privatise it ASAP and see how long it lasts when it has to stand on its own merits.

Careful! The BBC iPlayer still DOES NOT allow playback of Purchased titles via Chromecast or TV App! It complained about this to the BBC about a year ago and still not fix. What ever happened to the BBC being the home of the best and brightest engineers? :-( Feel free to raise this issue yourself with the BBC.

SWEET JESUS I NEARLY MISSED THIS.

£3 OFF SOMETHING YOU PAID FOR ALREADY?

You paid for it the first time, second time and third time it was repeated and now they still want to pay for it?

MAKE THE BBC PAY FOR ITSELF via subscription, you want it you buy it. I don't pay Ford to drive a VW, why do I pay the BBC to watch repeats of ITV'S Bullseye from 1984?

And watch as adverts and programmes aping others successes destroy the last bastion of British television where programmes aren't delivered to the lowest common denominator and creativity is non existent.
I'll take a small amount of bias in their news reporting which I can easily ignore for the wealth of excellent programmes and radio shows they turn out - and how much they encourage new talent in drama and comedy.
Oh and childrens television that isn't short attention span rubbish.

Nice to know you do acknowledge that there is bias - BTW that bias is absolutely forbidden in the BBC charter, but no oversight body exists with the will to sort it out.
I for one though will prefer the views of Ex Director General Mark Thompson who admitted the BBC had a "massive Left wing bias". Try listening to radio 4 if you doubt it, currently with anti Trump & anti Brexit at the top of every program they broadcast.

Well actually I said 'I'll take a small amount of bias'. I'm not saying there is, but I would if there were.
I think actually it's more 'flat earth news' - the bbc has had its journalism scaled back so much to save money it's just regurgitating press releases.

My point is - don't destroy all the bbc and the enormous good it does us for high quality entertainment, educational shows, radio channels and the like just because of a possible bias in the news reporting.
Don't be so quick to destroy the whole thing with privatisation (which incidentally, seems to lead to huge amounts of bias - see Murdoch), just to attack a tiny amount of what they do.

Murdoch is fine - plurality in the media can only be a good thing bias to the right and bias to the left - make your choice as to where you take your entertainment. Currently we have a far left fake news purveyor which has been a malign influence on the country for decades.
I don't agree it produces high quality entertainment, those shows are very few & far between, and I think from your comment that you don't either. If it did produce something worthwhile then people would be only to happy to pay for it.
Why do you feel it is right that other people should be forced to subsidised something you want, but they don't? It's a little like being forced to have a subscription to the Guardian before you can read the Daily Mail !

I think you will find there is a lot of people who do not watch BBC, listen BBC radio or go to the website.

TV has changed, so many people use NOW TV, Netflix, Amazon etc etc. The BBC is becoming irrelevant and the cost of the licence fee therefore becomes hard to defend.

That's a great idea!

I have to say the Daily Mail has been the biggest producer of right-wing fake news for decades.

When I got the email about this, it contained two codes: "LOVE", to use yourself, and "LOVEYOU" to give to 'someone special'. They both worked on the same account (last two Charlie Brooker's annual Wipes for £2.49 each).
