This not a Micro-SIM. This is a standard sized SIM Card that can be cut down to Micro-SIM size, so yes you can use it in any unlocked dongle that can take a regular size SIM

That's three months from the time you first use them. You can keep them for ages as long as they're unused.

No - it's a data only sim.

Yeh you can , but not if you download loads of things and go on you tube etc a lot as this just eats the allowance , but for genereal web surfing etc its fine .

Ps my friend has done what you mentioned ( no landline / broadband now ) and said she is better off , but i suppose it depends on circumstances etc and how many in household , we couldnt as we have a desktop , 2 laptops , i pod touch, wii, and x box to connect to internet , but if its just for internet on say 1 laptop then yes its worth it .

Yes you can.

When O2 put up the price I changed to 3.

I think all O2 E160's are unlocked, at least my two were.

Just go to 3 get the latest dongle software and flash your dongle, it then becomes a 3 dongle ready to use. Been using mine no problems.

It is cheaper to just keep buying Sims rather than registering and topping up.

Three

3GB 1 month £15.00

If that dongle is locked then it can be unlocked for free:
Unlock Here (choose Huawei E160 or closest match.
Another little bit of software is then required to use this code with to unlock then finally you need to use the generic 'dashboard' software for the dongle instead of the O2 supplied dongle software (which'll only try to connect to O2)
#32
i am using a huawei 160 just now and i got my three sim in it
and i never had to unlock the dongle so just put in your sim card and it should be ok
and as for the o2 software just press connect on it and u will be ok

Why not flash it with 3's software? That is what I have done, I now have a 3 dongle, and it remains unlocked.

for what its worth, i'm waiting for a new line for broadband, been using the 3 sims with 3GB at £6.99 from fleabay in a dongle. Bought a 3 mifi to allow access for whole family for £39.99 from 3 with 5GB a month for £15.99 - does the job but it gets used up quick if you stream use iplayer etc, speed is ok but not great on 3G. Just cancelled it as the BB will be arriving and 3 offered me a 50% lifetime discount if i would stay so at £7.99 a month if you can get 3G and stay under 5GB its not a bad deal at all

I have a 3 dongle already with a pay as you go sim. Can I just buy one of these and replace them when my current payg sim runs out?
