i'm waiting for "I wouldn't go and watch wigan if it's free" comments, but regardless 3 prem matches for £30 is cheaper than some conference sides!

Agreed. Top deal.

I'm a Man U fan and whilst our prices are pretty good for the Prem Champs, this is a great incentive for fans to go watch the Premiership for a bargain price.

I am considering this myself as I like Wigan, great little side, and this deal should make for a great atmosphere.

Perhaps Wigan/Lactics should be put in the title so people know which club its for.
#6
Great price - good to see clubs helping out fans.
#7
I'm certainly no Latic (grrr - CFC!) but can recognise a good deal when I see one and this is a real goodie. Three Prem games for £30 is a bargain. Good stuff Wigan. :)
#8
Can't believe people are voting this cold - regardless of who you support this is extreme value to watch premiership football. Just because you don't want to go, or don't like football, doesn't make it a bad deal!

£30 for 3 matches - now that's a recession buster :)
#9
I voted this hot as I think this is a great deal. Pity you have to suffer watching Birmingham though.;-)
#10
few clubs are on with this now hopefully every premier league club will follow suit :)
#11
Great price! Well done, Wigan.

Yeah, but look how many empty seats they have!!! More empty seats than full ones at times!

Crap manager, crap team I wouldn’t pay 10 pence never mind 10 pound to watch Jason Scotland.

Hot deal. Great price for Premier League football, whatever the team.

Although I'm a Villa fan, I live in Liverpool so might take this offer up with my 7 yr old son! Would love to see the Noses get stuffed!! LOL

I don't support Wigan, but they are an excellent club, great young manager and will be in the PL next season. Their performance against AV and Chelsea this season were excellent.

Hot deal and great initiative

Judging by your pic I'm guessing you'd have been happy to pay more last season when they were both at your club?
#18
Hot!! Id only get to see half an Arsenal match for that price, let alone 3 matches!!

Villa's rivalry with the blouse cracks me up. I am friends with a villa fan, and the other week he made me leave Sky Sports News on its repeat loop just so he could watch some blues fan who had had the Birmingham City FC logo tattooed on his arm, but the ball and globe were the wrong way round!!.......:giggle:

This deal is super HOT. I'm a Liverpool season ticket holder. I've been a couple of LFC away games at Wigan and also have a seven year old son who'd gradually getting into football. However taking into consideration the inflated prices and limited ticket availability at Anfield I decided to take my son, along with my girlfriend's eldest daughter, to their first match at the JJB to see Wigan Vs. Bolton in 2007-08. Wigan won 1-0 btw.

Paid £20 for my ticket and the two kids got in free on under 5's tickets. Yes that's FREE everybody. And those free tickets are available for under 5's at EVERY Wigan home game, with under 11's tickets being a mere £5 and under 16's tickets just £10.

The kids loved it, dad got to see some cheap footy, and it came in handy when I was struggling to get a ticket for the Wigan Vs LFC game last season as our away allocation had sold out but as my name is now down on Wigan's system as a "Latics supporter" I was able to get a ticket in the home end. Kept my mouth shut of course!

For anyone wanting to book any tickets at Wigan over the phone saynoto0870 gives an alternative number of 01942 774000. The number is for main switchboard so just ask to be put through to ticket office.

Here's a copy of the price list for Wigan's home games. Cheaper than most clubs, an adult ticket can be had for as little as £20, and the kids prices are unbelievable!

In terms of the deal though, hot (Wigan or not)

They've basically copied Blackburn Rovers ticketing initiative earlier in the season when they launched the Crucial 3.

Hot deal, if it gets bums on seats and food/beer bought, just sad to see a town that is full of man united/liverpool supporters.
