This is the deal I got about 6 months ago and it is pretty good though 3 reception can be hit and miss. There is meant to be a new skypephone coming out so some people might want to wait for this.

A really bad phone, have had 2 of these and both broke.

The 6120 would be a better choice. This phone is about £40 on ebay anyway, not exactly worth + more quidco for other phones.

There is a new skypephone out already, and here it is:

It's called the S2, and it features HSDPA (mobile broadband), which is very interesting. You could use it as a bluetooth or cabled mobile broadband modem, which would mean you don't have to carry an extra dongle around with you.

With this and the unlimited browsing option for £5, surely you get unlimited internet anywhere for a total of £20 per month plus your usual mobile contract. Seems a very good deal to me (unless unlimited is actually limited like most others)

Yeah, this does sound like a great deal. I've heard, from people on this forum, that using it as a modem can be frowned upon, but so long as you don't go mad (i.e. over 1GB) then it shouldn't be a problem.

Very tempting, as I'm paying £15 / month for my mobile broadband at the moment.
