Sendit.com is selling some great dvds 3 for £16.

Including: The smpathy trilogy * battle royal 1 + 2 * the ring

infernal affairs trilogy * audition and loads more.

i think they have loads of stock on order as i ordered Lady vengeance, sympathy for mr. vengeance (collectors) and a bittersweet life are all on preorder status.

Some very good DVDs there and 3 for £16 is a pretty decent price, just do a quick check on www.find-dvd.co.uk as some of them are cheaper elsewhere.

Voted hot.

Thanks BristolDeal for pointing out I put in the wrong link.

I'd recommend 'A Tale of Two Sisters' and 'A Bittersweet Life'... and, obviously, 'Oldboy'. The other two films in the vengeance trilogy are pretty good too (Lady Vengeance and Mr Vengeance)...
#4
I'd back up the recommendation of A Tale of Two Sisters as well.
#5
Battle royals are ace for mindless violence and subtitles =]
#6
i thought 2 was a bit dodgy though. old boy and battle royale 1 are definetly worth the £5.33 each.
#7
Sweet - just ordered a handful! Thanks!

you can go to hmv.co.uk and get most of the mentioned dvds for £5-6 deliveryed, i just ordered lady vengeance, oldboy and sympathy for mr vengeance for £17.49 delivered, just incase anyone doesnt want to wait for them to come into stock on the 21st on sendit.com. £1.50 is extra is not bad to get them now.

Lady Vengeance DVD, does it have the Fade to Black and White version on it?
I'm doubting it as the only place I've seen it is the boxset...which leaves me in the quandary of can I honestly justify the extra? :?

Thanks for the post!!
#13
You could always get the region 3 from CD Wow which has the fade to balck and white version (although sound is only in DTS so if your sound system can't play that, then it's not worth bothering!)
#14
Apologies - I've just realised that the Korean version of Sympathy For Lady Vengeance is now out of stock at CD Wow!
#15
Thanks very much; I didn't realise it was available on the individual DVDs so i'll look around for that version.

Much appreciated (not in the least cos i was reluctant to send £60 on the deluxe boxset or whatever it's called)

:)

there is a trilogy set which is 6 discs, so it should be on that - and its not the £60 deluxe set either, there is a normal trilogy set but not sure of price. probably around £30.

Cheapest I can find that for is £28.95 from choices:

http://www.choicesuk.com/Product.aspx/!682865

I believe that there is a 5% voucher there, and with 5% Quidco cashback that brings the price down to £26.13.

thanks SS and Anastacia

Abosutley gutted...

Just spent about £30 if not more on Miike Takashi films in like the past...week!

Audition, Visitor Q, Ichi The Killer etc etc. :(

Might get some more though :-D

Some really good titles there, but hunt around because I wouldn't be surprised if some of these are cheaper individually elsewhere.

My local Sainsbury's was selling quite a few of these in their 'World Cinema' section for £5.99 each recently - I realise that is actually a whopping 10p more expensive than the titles on SendIt.com but you can watch it tonight :)

Oh, don't bother with 'Battle Royale 2' as it is a major disappointment.

my 3 came today just to let you all know.

Hard Boiled is great stuff, best action movie I have ever seen. John Woo at his finest.

One Night in Mongkok is a classic thriller.

Also Dead or Alive is funny in a warped Japanese action flick way. Here's a brief description taken from a review on IMDB.

'This movie has everything, noodles exploding out of peoples belly, strippers drowning in pools of their own s#@%,beastial porn, dismemberment, explosive gunfights, homos, jugular spray, clowns, weirdos, perverts, freaks, and the longest line of coke ever.'
