Good price as their PAYG sim cards are often quite expensive. Voted hot.

Good deal

But beware with "3" you have 6 months to use up your credit from 1st use, otherwise you lose it
#3
I think thats more "be aware" not beware :)
#4
arn't "3" meant to be the worst out the phone providers?
#5
i was told by 3 that the credit never expires
#6
Been with 3 for 4 years not ever a dropped signal anywhere great deal thanks
#7

#8

Been on 3 for over about 2 years, I find better signal where I am in Berkshire that I had before on all the other carries (recently tested all the major ones), and 3 are very progressivly pushing out the 3g network and other services like mobile broadband, a great network IMO

Seems a good price for a sim with £30 loaded credit. Heat added :-) xx

The pre-loaded credit that is on the sim does expire,it's the top up's you add to it later than don't expire

Every network does -- are they supposed to give it to you for free?

I think timyang means that 3 charge per minute billing, rather than per second, so the minimum call charge is for a minute.
Hence why their contract deals also seem to include more inclusive minutes - in reality you'll probably get far less than you think you're paying for!

I dunno about you guys, but i'd much rather slam my balls in a cutlery draw than willingly use a 3 service again.. it SO wasn't plesant with them!

If we're going to be doing this again, just let me say I'd rather try bore a hole in my skull with a blunt pair of kids safety scissors than willingly use O2. :whistling:

3 are terrible and charge you for stuff you never had off them. Tried to take my sister to court for having the nerve to want to leave after 2 years of terrible coverage and renewed her contract without her say so after she had cancelled and demanded paying for a phone they say my sister signed for but never did even though it was not her signature or even her name.

fcuk with 3

I would be checking t&c on that sim card, it's probably £30 per minute for the first second

That only applies to any free credit you receive, any credit you buy never expires unless you have converted it to a stretch bundle

NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY !!!

Got to be the worst of them all, money grabbing swines ! They will use every trick in the book to get out of their obligations, bad handset and they will search every nook and cranny to blame you for the fault, come renewal time they will harass the pants of you (contact people of course), when something goes wrong they will not want to know and all operations are overseas so hair pulling trying to explaint whats wrong !

I will never ever go with three, my sis is with them.......They are cheap for a reason both contract and payg....

Yes many of us have had these sorts of issues with 3, only just this afternoon in my case :w00t:
though this offer seems great, and perhaps payg takes out some of the hassle?
does anyone know a cheap phone that will take this 3 sim, and support free skype & msn?
thnks:)
#23
When it says Free Instant Messaging and Free Skype - does this actually mean free free? (there are no hidden data charges are there?)

Also by instant messaging, does that include windows live / msn messenger?

If all that is free, then yeah i would definatley be tempted to get this.

Hey i think that often the three store description thing misses out features that phones support, I'm sure i once saw the Skype phone without Skype ::-D

I asked to try my 3 sim card in the handset in my local 3 store, it let me download an update for the skype software ( no dedicated skype button ) but it kept coming up with a password error for my skype account (my skype account works fine on the 3 skype handset) such a shame as a great looking handset and i think it looks better than my sony w660i

Bought one from woolies. Say the 60 days before the supplied credit expires and returned it unopened for a refund and got a £10 top up instead.

OK IMPORTANT NOTE ON THIS CREDIT!!!!

Hi to let you all know as I was pretty annoyed with three over this.... You get £30 credit with your SIM as stated.... however if you like me, immediately apply a stretch add-on, in my case £25, you will find strangely the next day that the remaining £5 goes missing??? Well after a week of calling three to ask why, they finally informed me that with "promotional credit" even if you add stretch minutes.... your remaining credit will be used up, before your minutes start to be used. I think thats absolutely ***** and it saysit no where at all.... But I thought it right to warn you..... I would then definately reccomend you go with a £25 stretch..... and maybe even convert the remaining £5 to internet add on or something... do not save the credit and get a streach £10/£15 or you will be a very upset customer on the end of the phone to an indian call centre that will take forever to resolve your problem.

It still is a good deal, but you have to work it in your favour!!!
