3 Tier Steamer

still worth it with p&p

I choose steaming for my veg because it locks the taste and nutrients in, and it keeps colours vibrant. It's also incredibly healthy because you're not adding any oils or fats, but don't just use it for your broccoli, steamed fish is amazing too."

3 x 18cm diameter

They are charging me £4.95 for collecting it from my local store - that can't be right. I can order things for collection from store from Tesco and its free. Why should Asda charge??:?

great price but i dont think its right they should charge if you collect.

Price of £7.45 (minimum) should be displayed !!!! Cold for that reason.

I don't understand why you mislead people? Is a high vote on your listing really that important to you? If you believe it's still worth the money, why not be honest?

Honestly, do some people want their arses wiping for them as well.

The OP has obviously placed what appeared to be a good deal and included the term 'P&P'. As has already been stated, if purchasing over a certain amount it would be free.
Nobody is holding a gun to your head forcing you to buy, if it's not for you then move on!!!

The term plus P&P is NOT good enough, if you post then PLEASE put the actual P&P cost. This is what you are supposed to do, let's be consistent. With some deals you are required to cerate an account before you can find out the P&P charges. If we encourage people posting to do it in the first place it saves time and hassle

I agree that it would be far easier to have the full information contained in the deal and it would be a pain to find out that P&P would virtually wipe out a potentially good deal.

My main complaint was the way that the OP was berated as trying to dupe people.

I could be wrong Geemac, but I'm sure that once I either used a code or it may have been the minimum £11 cost for free delivery to store with Tesco.
Apologies but it was a few months ago, so I can't remember the exact details.

Surely the simplest thing to do is to send £25 to get free collection from store then return the other goods?

I seem to remember people doing a similar thing a while ago, in ordering a sim card to make up the free delivery amount then returning it, but there was that many doing the same, Tesco, as it was got a little peeved.

To be honest, and I'm not being moralistic here, but I prefer a straight forward deal without causing havoc for the poor and sometimes poorly paid staff. Plus add in the travel costs and all the messing around and sometimes it's more trouble than it's worth.
#26
No prizes for the longest title ever!

I ordered 10 of them to get free store delivery, and I'll just take 9 back straight away :0)

Don't be too disheartened holly100, I think people just prefer ease of use when shifting through all the deals.

You just keep up the good work posting any good offers, you've found a damn sight more than I have.

I was just testing my theory that this site has become unusable because people just want to have a dig at each other, don't recognise a good deal when they see one, and have no sense of humour whatsoever. I see my theory was correct.

This was a good deal, and people could do nothing but moan about the p&p. The p&p didn't need to be specified as it was avoidable by buying other stuff in my opinion.

Ah! Devils Advocate eh!

While I agree with you about the P&P issue, I don't think this site has become unusable, after all people don't need to read to comments.

Perhaps unusable was a BIT too heavy, I still love the site really :)

But I felt sorry for the original poster who posted this great deal and got moaned at. Seems too much of that on here. Oh well, I'll probably be kicked off for my post above anyway lol.
#37
And if anyone still wants one of these - you can buy them in store @ 2 for £16.

Egg poacher pan, frying pan, stock pot and 3 piece pan set all included in the same offer. And no p&p.

Again the P&P should always be specified. Posters including mods have posted deals on here for £1.00 saying it's a filler item as there is free P&P if you spend £50.00. Where do you draw the line? You don't have to put P&P if it's available in store. Somebody did this with 7dayshop.com where the only collection point is on Jersey. If the P&P is in the title it just makes it easy.

And I wouldn't dare have a go at holly100 as I've taken advantage of a few of her deals. Many thanks holly100:thumbsup:

And yes I know 7dayshop.com has free P&P on everything now

I don't think you'll be kicked off e16guy, you've made a valid point.

And if you look through the thread, you'll see that I've made my feelings quite clear about some of the comments made about the poster.

Good deal hunting
