My first post. Apologies in advance for any mistakes

Panasonic TX32LXD60 HD ready (2xHDMI) for £597 including delivery. Cheapest delivered price elsewhere is £704. Use the following codes

521219CFP | special10 | prfreedel

Philips 32PF5531D HD ready for around £560. Cheapest price elsewhere £662. Use code 2 and 3 from above, and use this as the third code 326382CFP

LG 32LC2DB HD ready for £555. Cheapest prie elsewhere is £612. Use 787548CFP and 2 codes from above.

Credit to Edi for the special10 code. Only valid as long as 10% currys code is valid

I discovered (maybe other know this already), that if you add the letters 'CFP' to the 6-digit product codes for televisions on currys.com, you get some sort of discount on a lot of televisions. Worked on 37" and 40" TVs as well. Might work with more. Seems like it is some sort of price match mechanism.

I have just ordered the Panasonic myself :)

Sharp LC37GD8E 37" High Definition Digital LCD TV for £728 using 452865cfp :)
#7
thank you amuneer!!! I posted my first post last night asking for this! I have ordered the panasonic too.....it will be a very early Christmas present for hubby :D
The discounts were great, but I could "only" get it down to £619.12....but even that is a bargain, so very happy...thank you thank you thank you :D
#8
duh! just realised that I would have got it down a further 3.5% through quidco (didn't read your title properly I was too excited lol)...but I haven't got a clue about quidco.....still got a bargain so happy days :D
#9
Join up with Quidco Betty it soon mounts up. I have had over £500 back through them so far this year.

The CFP code seems to work for TVs only from what I've tried. I tried it on some of the deal of the day ones and it wouldn't work there, but trying it on ones as £2k+ per pop was fun. Seeing the discount of £700+.

Didn't actually use it this time myself, as I got a 37WLT66 from them last week :-)

As you said, use Quidco for even more, and then if you're really keen, sign up for an Amex Platinum card via QuidCo - get a tenner back for that... then, buy your TV using this deal and get 3% cashback from Amex too.

(I wasn't quite that keen, but I did get 1% back on my Amex Blue ;-)

Nice deal amuneer :) welcome to HUKD's

I may as well join the fun on this thread.

I just bought the Panasonic TH42PX600PED for £1,345.31 after quidco!!

Cheapest price anywhere else is £1,530 plus delivery.

This is one of the most highly rated 42" plasmas around....

http://www.panasonic.co.uk/plasma-tv/th42px600ped/th42px600ped-1-im04.jpg

The price before the discount codes and Quidco is £2,349.99, making a final saving of £1,004.68 off the original asking price, or better still 43% off!!!!!

The CFP code gave me £800.99 off!!!!!

If anyone wants to follow suit, use special10, 020890CFP, and PRFREEDEL.

Here's a screenshot (before Quidco).......

Thank you amuneer, just order a Panasonic. You might also be interested to know that www.dixons.co.uk (the same company as currys now) often has goods listed much cheaper than the same goods on currys.co.uk

haha awesome dude, also how far are you sitting from the tv in feet? i am asking cause i brought (well its on order for £611, down from £899 fantastic discount) the LE32R73BD for my bedroom and i will be sitting (well lying on bed) at lease 9 - 10 feet away will this be sufficient enough to have a fantastic pic quality or should just order the 26in vr?
#26
No stand is included but that is normal with most LCD TVs as a lot of people will want to wall mount it.

You can find reviews here

http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/televisions/0,39030218,49284219,00.htm
OR
http://www.reevoo.com/reviews/mpn/panasonic/tx32lxd60

Sound quality might not be the best, but it should be adequate for most rooms. I saw it in Currys yesterday, and it seemed loud enough with decent sound. You can always add a surround system to boost the sound if required.

In terms of image quality, only the Sony Bravia has a slight edge to this model but that would cost you considerably more.
#27
Ordered my panasonic today after spending an hour on the phone arranging for Currys to take back the Sharp that I bought last week which had terrible picture quality. With the codes the panasonic only works out £40 more and going by the reviews is a far superior set:)
#28
Just thought I'd add 651543CFP for the Toshiba 42WLT66 + DVD recorder (doesn't say which one but got to worth at least £150 + stand (worth another £90) . Used with 10% discount and free posatage via quidco gives £1300!
The cheapest you can get the telly for by itself is that price, forget the extras!
#29
think im gonna have to order the samsung at 611, the special10 code now doesnt work, but you can use youatwork1 instead, to get same price. was looking into HD Tellies now im spoilt for choice with what to go for now there all around 600. but remember quidco to get the samsung for under 600.

'price10' can also be used for a 10% discount.
#31
I can't hang it so would need a stand, looks like I'll try another model.
#32
Ordered the Samsung, I know its only got one HDMI socket but can't imagine using two at once anyway.

Ordered last night, got a delivery date of Tuesday and Quidco tracked straight away, marvellous!!

Hope it's the right choice!!
#33
This deal is unbelievable...

l work is sales for one of the top three manufacturers selling this type of product and can ensure you this is not available cheaper anywhere else.

So much so l just purchased 3, they come next Monday.

Currys must be making a loss...
#34
Colours1970, you purchased 3! You're made of money!

Welcome to the forums by the way :-D
