Is that not standard practice for most companies offering Quidco.

Got paid my £100 cashback from Vodafone without issue. It did however take many months.

But if you cancel the contract before the 3 months is up they will decline the cashback so you can't make a profit, you could get 3 months contract for £15 (not necessarily a bad deal in itself but not profit making!)

Quidco states £45 for a 30 day only sim. Surely once it has been tracked they would be obliged to pay out.

Vodafone paid my £120 cashback with no problems or delay. This seems like a good deal to me.

They're not obliged to pay just because it tracked, they can decline the transaction afterwards (for pretty much any reason they like as you've got very little comeback). I read the 'extended validation' statement to mean that the contract must still be in force at the time of validation, I may be wrong but I think it is highly likely that they won't payout if you cancel the contract immediately.

I had no problems when I took out one of these deals in the past but I let the contract run until the cashback hit my Quidco account (IIRC it was £90 cashback on a £15/month rolling contract with a 4 month validation period back then so I got about 5 months free contract and a modest profit).

In this case I wouldn't risk 30 quid on a slim chance of making a £15 profit, if you want the contract anyway then that's a different matter but then you probably wouldn't be cancelling it immediately in that case anyway.
