if you ever get them :(

Chemist direct are one of the worst online companies I've ever had to deal with. customer service is none existent and use by dates are very short. I'm not the only one who has problems with chemist direct.

This was off money saving expert:

Following negative comments about Chemist Direct, we got in touch with its manager to investigate. He gave us this statement:

"Over the last year since my wife and I founded Chemist Direct we are proud to have built up a loyal base of over 200,000 repeat customers who are delighted with our service. A sudden and major surge in orders over the last few weeks did create a few problems for our small team, and we’re sorry to any customers who may have experienced a less than perfect service. However, we have just carried out a major expansion of our customer services department, with more staff to deal with enquiries, and I’m confident we’re now well back on track to offering a quick, efficient and friendly service. We'd like to ask that any customers with queries should email my customer services team at [email protected]">[email protected]. We will then ensure their queries are resolved amicably and quickly."

Bought some at this price a couple of months ago. Arrived within a couple of days, expiry date of 2011 and they work very well for me. Means that I can keep a pack in the car, at work, at home, in the golf bag etc without having to pay prescription prices. Definitely worth it from my POV.

heated.

it's annoying being out and suddenly needing some tablets and having to cough up for local supermarket/chemist prices!

Unfortunately people are still having problems post this statement, also they promise not to debit your card until order is processed. The money came out of my account immediately, yet I never received my order. They did refund me eventually but not until I spent money trying to phone them (don't bother, they stick you on hold and cut you off after 15 mins) emailed them repeatedly and only ever got one fob off reply. Eventually I managed to speak to someone via the now non existent Live help and got a refund.

It would seem that Chemist direct are good when they are good but when something goes wrong, as it often does, then forget about any kind of customer service.

Thanks for the information.

However this deal still beats that one if bulk ordering 4 or more packs.

Ah yes this great country we live in that somehow manages to treat some residents differently to others.
