Great deal. Hot hot hot. I'll be surprised if this doesn't end up over the 250 degrees mark. Just taken a look on Fleabay and amazon, nothing close to that on there for a 30 litre, £20 plus at least. If anyone knows of any cheaper for a 30 litre plus then let me know, otherwise asda will be getting 12 of my hard earned pounds. Oh and hat off for the extra effort, the pics are insightful, going to get the cream one me thinks to match the kitchen. Again, thanks.

They're doing a 40 litre for approx £15 aswell (or at least that's what I paid for what I think was a 40 litre).
They're OK, but like all pedal bins, I'm not sure the pedal action will be up for much for long, and the hinge on the lid doesn't feel particularly substantial.
Good for the price, but probably won't last till Christmas.

40 litre for £15 from asda is even better. Though if it wasn't in the cream I wouldn't bother getting it for the extra 10 litres capacity. On the pedal bin front, we got ours last time at asda, it was a 30 litre aswell, but it was more like £25 at the time. This was around 3 to 4 years ago and its still working fine, the only reason for wanting to change is the lid on our current bin has got afew small dents over it from when the lid has made contact with the wall etc when the pedal has been pressed, that and the inside container bit has got a slight bit odour to it no matter how hard we clean it.

bought one of these about 6 or so months back. The bottom of it broke also for us we found it a pain with regards bin bags - perhaps just too used to the rectangular shape bins.

The dea lsounds good but the bin is RUBBISH....the pedal atthe bottom breaks off and is very badly manufactured.:x Have had the bin one month only.....would say avoid this one:roll:

Yeh the pedal and the mechanism on these is really cheaply made, seems OK at first then after a few months use it will stop working and/or break. I'd say these are fine if you don't use the bin a lot, as they look nicer than your average bin. They just aren't that functional.

I recommend getting one of those larger plastic bins with the lid door you open yourself as these are less than half the price as standard and will last much, much longer. And of course are cheap if need replacing.

I bought one of these and it didn't last long at all, first the pedal mechanism failed so we had to open the lid by hand and then the fixtures attaching the lid to the bin broke off. I think they might be okay for light usage but not families, they don't hold a lot because of the shape either.

Nice looking bins though

I don't believe you lot !

You come here to save a few pennies here and there and get a good deal (me as well) but don't take the dodgy bin back for a refund or a replacement. That would be like throwing away £12/15/25 and I reckon there would be a queue from here to Tokyo if I was giving out free £20 notes !

Bins are supposed to last longer than a couple of months so if it doesn't, take it back. I'll bet Asda just give you another one no questions.
