bought one of these about 3 weeks ago (to test) and its amazing, charges up most batteries in minutes, average time is about 15-20 minutes for me.

chargers AA and AAA batteries

fan turns off when batteries are finished charging.

For AA red light means charging, green light means finished.
For AA red light means charging, flashing red light means finished.

If you put a battery in that doesnt need charging the RED LED will flash

It's an attractive idea but your batteries wont last as long. Good price tho.

Must have gone up in price within the past few weeks.

It means the cell is faulty, but I have found that its not that accurate.

I have one of these. It is brilliant. It gives a partial charge in about 15 minutes. Obviously to fully charge a battery you need to trickle charge it too. I got one of these with the Ready to Go batteries. I am very happy.

Dont you think if this was a good idea, the manufacturers of the batterys, would be selling these.

Why not just buy another set of batteries have one on charge whilst you use the other ones ??

LOGICAL

And cheaper

I read that quite a lot on the forums. People saying that they plan in advance their battery strategies like some kind of military operation. All I am saying is that this is just a fast battery charger. It's not much different from other chargers, apart from its speed. I am very happy with it. And it works lovely with Ready to Go batteries from 7 day shop.

Just a bit of a warning. I have just charged some GP Recyko in mine and its boiled the batteries.

They were very hot and still making a crackling noise when taken out of the charger.
