This is a cracking deal offered direct through o2 channels for Companies that use o2 for their corporate account. Often this is not communicated down to the staff that they can use their discount code for up to 5 new or upgrading connections.

Next time you are due for upgrade, or if you needed to be swayed towards o2 for any reason, this could be a significant saving on your monthly bill.

Offers employees of many companies and organisations to get 30% off of the Airtime part of a Refresh agreement purchased direct through o2.

Some of the companies and organisations:
British Forces (Navy, Army, Air force)
NHS
First (busses/trains)
Tesco
Police federation
Carphone Warehouse

Just to name a tiny proportion of the companies involved!

There are so many companies that are given this discount...check if you work for one of these companies in your nearest o2 store or ask customer services next time you are on the phone.

please feel free to ask for more info.

This would be good if you can get O2 to honour it. I've had the code from my work rejected by text after it had already been verified in the shop and then after numerous online chats with their helpdesk saying it was now rectified I am still being charged the full amount. Never again!

suggest a call to customer services rather than Web chat. It does explain that it needs to be added within 28 days of connection.

I used this recently no problem, 30% off the call plan tarrif but nothing off the phone cost. Using the cooperative as employer

for the best combined discount use it on the o2 website on a refurbished handset and you essentially get 30% off both handset and tarrif.

You can't use it on the website, only instore.

In addition, the refresh prices are so crazy, it brings the phone down to whatever everyone else charges!

That's incorrect... the discount is completely separate from the actual contract that you sign/set up online.

Therefore, it is correct.

The process is to activate the contract (upgrade or New), follow the steps on o2open.co.UK and then send Text code as explained on the website.

Unfortunately I can't do all of the reading for you...some of it you actually need to read for yourself...or head into store and ask an advisor how to do it.

O2 may well be more expensive than other networks in some situations...however the coverage is good.

Refresh is really easy to understand... choose what mins/data you want then choose how much you wish to pay up front for the phone if any. its quite easy really. W

And to elaborate on this...The loan part of the contract is a huge benefit for customers as if you want/need to upgrade early, all you have to do is pay the loan not the whole contract! ie. Monthly cost of £38pm = loan of £20, airtime of £18...all you have to do to upgrade/end contract: pay off loan for phone, for example. 12 months left with o2 refresh: pay £240(20x12). with all other networks pay £456(38x12).

its a no brainer for me.
