Bloody hate these things, mainly due to the little twats round tesco's on them just coming at you from around blind corners and their parents telling you to watch out!!!
#4
Just for info these are being slowly, but surely, banned from most shopping centres (Woking & Bentalls Centre) so the chance to use them may be diminishing.
Also with the one wheel variety you can remove the wheel and replace it with a rubber 'bung' so they can be worn as trainers (albeit they weigh a ton). With the 2 wheel heely you can remove the wheels but the cavity cannot be filled so they will collect all sorts of crap!

Yes , I remember being young and my parents clipping me around the ear if I did anything that put anyone else in danger. Yes, i am sure they would let me ride my bike around a shopping centre (NOT)! These things are just as lethal and parents just let there kids roam. Just because the wheels are built into the trainers does not make them any different to a sKateboard... Ban these things before someone is seriously injured....:w00t:

If you're on a bit of a budget I noticed the alternative version, which attach to normal shoes, in Sports World last time I was there for £13.49.

Called Junior Wheel Blazers.

I personally wouldn't buy my kids these as I read yesterday that theses are one of the worlds worst toys of 2006 and there was a 12 year old lad in a coma who collided with a car whilst wearing these, maybe not entirely down to the shoes but if theres even that slight risk I wouldn't get them for my kids.
They say buy helmets n pads but I suppose to some kids these are 'uncool'.

Just my opinion I suppose this is a good deal for those who really want some.

imo opinion these are no different than skates, blades or skateboards, even bikes, all dangerous with mis use, its down to individual parents to supervise where they are used and protective gear worn :)
