On the Asda website the 30 pack of Velvet Toilet Tissue are priced at just £10. Don't know if this will be in store as well.

I really don't see the point in laying out this kind of money for bog rolls maybe it's brand snobbery. I stick with triple layer embossed pattern British made by Sofidel (2nd largest tissue producer in Europe) "Petal Soft" brand £0.89 for 4 in Iceland. That equates to £6.68 for 30. And you only need to buy 4 at a time not a trolly load like Costco or Asda

I use Nicky elite, but I have discovered recently that the sheets per roll count is far lower on these. Not sure of the best price per sheet vs. quality....?

When you gotta go you gotta go ;-)

If you work out pence per poop etc, not bad.

I've voted hot although I always get Andrex personally - I have tried other brands but always end up going back to them.

On a separate note 30 rolls - you could build a bathroom den with that amount! :)

I like to steal toilet paper from work. It's really cheap stuff and feels like sandpaper but the reason they buy it is because 'someone kept stealing the good stuff'. Well I don't know if that's true or not but I know now for sure that subjecting us to this horrible torture hasn't gained them anything.

Oh God I can't be doing with the rough stuff, I am the Ying to your Yang I think as I take softer stuff in to work! I would be embarrassed if anyone ever found out but I am a delicate flower and I like what I like and believe me I do not like the great big toilet rolls!

I remember at school when we had the tracing paper type toilet paper I used to scrunch it up first then flatten it out then rub it together to try to soften it up - is it any wonder I prefer Andrex! :)

Which is exactly what most folk in Asia do.

erm, no they don't. In most of India + SE Asia, they use a little 'hose' to clean themselves - which is cleaner than using tissue, I might add

BandM 18 tolls £3.48 seems a good enough deal
