Brilliant deal if you can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to sell your iPhone 3GS to upgrade to the iPhone 4 and £300 is a very good price.

Just been into my local store and they said for a small deposit (£5) I could reserve the iPhone 4 and be placed in a priority queue (of which there were only 3 people) to receive the iPhone 4 as soon as it arrived into the shop.

This deal is great for those who are due an upgrade.

Josh

(I can't be sure what you'd get for a 16GB 3GS)

I love it when people vote cold, but don't say why....

Quite possibly because Phones4u is the worst company in the world, I worked for them for 2 1/2 years so I know personally what the company does to its customers.

But once you've dealt with them once, you never have to interact with them again! It's not like you're bound to them by a contract, they are just a middle-man.

isnt this a bit of a rubbish deal? the 3gs was only released 12 months ago and so everyone will probbly have taken out a 24 month contract so will still have 12 months to go. the £300 you get back probably wouldnt even cover the amount you have to pay to get out of contract.

That's their problem for getting a 24 month contract if they were going to upgrade to the new phone.

£300 for the 3GS is a good deal, it's pretty close to the price these actually sell for 2nd hand without having to go through the trouble of selling it.

Sounds like a good deal to me but considering s123 comments, not sure all depends on your circumstances maybe. But no point voting cold just because you dont like phones4u. I have bought phones from them and received a good service.

Thanks both of you, I bought my phone from eBay, and so I'm not tied to an iPhone Contract aleady, as I'm due for an upgrade its perfect for me, as I'd only receive £300 after delivery for it if I sold it, but going with Phones4U means that I don't have to bother with the Hassle of a sale.

I posted the deal thinking that others might be in a similar situation. Obviously people vote whether they like a company or not, regardless of wether a deal is good or not. Shame really but people vote ignorantly.
