the t-mobile £10 deal 12 month sim only deal is miles better 600 mins 500 texts unltd 3gb net and one booster eg unlimted texts/landlines/tmobile!

daindian £10 t-mobile deal doesnt no longer exist so this deal is now the cheapest on the market!!!!

GiffGaff = 150 mins (250mins until 2011), unlimited texts, unlimited data £10 only one month contract.
Suppose it's down to the individual user and if they need more mins, texts or data.

No way would I get into a contract with them again. A one month rolling was too bad. they should get busted under the Trades Description Act.
#7
three have improved a lot lately. good deal, voted hot.

Looks like a good deal to me, looking to get away from giffgaff after the 3hr downtime yesterday so I'd consider something like this. Anyone know how long the offer will be on for?
#9
The Tesco £10 SIM monthly has 500 mins unlimited text/internet (500mb I believe). I don't think this Three deal is good simply because it's a 12 month contract.

I'm with Three on the £15/month rolling contract for the unlimited 3-3 calls which I make full use of, and strangely I get 2gb internet limit :D

Because they are rubbish , i was with them for a year and was lucky to wriggle out of a contract,,,Overseas customer services, rubbish reception (full bars one minute, none the next)....on O2 for 2 years now and no trouble...

Ive been with 3 about 6 years now and yes ok there customer services isnt brilliant but ive never really needed to use them as I have no complaints!

Cold.

I did consider this offer myself a couple of days ago, but, TCO of this is £105, after cashback. By contrast, the 500 text & talk plan + a refurb Samsung 5600 costs £13/month for 24 months, £312, less £101 TopCashBack (really, why do you people still use Quidco?) and less £50 for selling the phone, so £56 more for twice as long on the plan, and with more minutes, although less texts. Fortunately, as a former O2 customer I've gotten accustomed to not sending many txts anyway (no point, O2's network is too unreliable to actually deliver them anyway), that doesn't bother me much.

Oh, and with regards to the £7.50 Tmobile deal, I had that until a couple of days ago. Nice price, but I went four days without mobile email because the signal's so bad (even after the Orange network opt-in) here in Edinburgh that my phone couldn't sniff a connection strong enough to push measily 2kb emails over it. Shame, really.

Just to add to this - if you purchase 2 at the same time then you will get unlimted 3to3 calls too.

(or if you purchase this and you already have another 3 contract )

Im just going on my personal experience...went from O2 (no problems) to 3 network because of an enticing deal and had a terrible experience,, back to O2 with no problems again!!! Three shop were useless too....went to 2 separate shops and both told me completely different stories when i was having trouble!!!

Won't touch 3 with a badge pole, worst customer services ever, poor network & services, managed to break my contract mid way due to their incompetence and blatant lying of CS staff, I had to threaten court action! Basically they're fine as long as you don't need to contact them... lol

In any case Tesco and T-Mobile deals are better

Yep would rather wait for this one to come back in again in a few weeks or so.

Decent deal, but I already have a very good deal with 3 and I get 2GB data monthly rolling contract as a long term customer.
By the way to those who think the network is bad, this is no longer true. 3 finally have one of the better networks these days especially as 98% of their network is on 3G. But the customer service is still pants.

Do you have a link as the only £10 sim only deal that comes on on their site has 300 minutes

What's the point of 1GB of data allowance when you get between no service and 50kps? When you call them yo complain, you get through to a village in India where they think telephone lines are made from witch's hair.

Er.....how exactly is 100 mins better than 300? :|

I moved from O2 to 3 this year because 3 offered a far better deal on price, but there are still some strange issues with dropped calls and odd signal issues (it shows a signal but still drops the call) that tells me Three haven't ironed out all the problems, but coverage is a lot better than it was a few years ago.

It does not happen often on Three but it does happen more often than on O2, and this is even in the centre of Coventry where you would expect decent coverage, which makes me wonder if they lack capacity.

Still it was a lot better deal than O2 were offering.
#25
No problems with signal here, great internet speed and superb HSDPA coverage where my mate on o2 has none.

Just for reference you also get 2gb data alllowance on 3 payg if you purchase the £5 'monthly internet' add-on :)
#26
I had numerous issues with Three. Shocking coverage (approximately 30 mins per day), even though my address was listed as being fully covered on their coverage map. Customer Services admitted that there was no coverage in my area, but still wanted over double of the cost of the whole contracts for both my mobile and mobile broadband to cancel the contracts (at at cost of £1100). They even admitted being in breach of contract. That didn't stop the daily phone calls, texts and letters from the bailiffs. Thank heavens for the Citizens Advice Bureau....

Three are pants....the lidl of mobile networks!!!
#28
3 are shocking, I had a terrible time trying to leave them, even though I was over 3 months out of contract. I'd ring up to cancel and still keep getting billed, they kept denying that I had called them and I actually believed them the 1st time. It took me 4 cancellation calls and then half a dozen emails sent to the Exec Office and it was still only resolved when I threatened to go to OFCOM. I was only on a £5 a month contract too! Mental.

I'd avoid and go with someone else if I were you.

Its ok if you have no problems, but part of the money you pay on contract goes towards paying for customer services....which are non existent.....More saying they are bad than good......

I'm in Coventry too and I get the same thing! Full bars and the call drops. It doesn't happen often enough to change networks, but if it was an important call or work I'd be annoyed.

Another reason this is cold is because you lose the 2000 3-3 mins compared to the rolling contract. Go with Tesco or TMobile.

£7.50 pm 12 months contract

I have similar for £15, but 1 month rolling contract. Have no intention of changing as I like the network signal and flexibility. Customer service has been fine for me, so not worth the hassle of changing. I think 3 get a bad rap, but every phone provider will have it's haters.
#36
I am now with t-mobile
I was with 3 for 2 years no probs.
Orange are by far the worse mobile network even their Staff (English) ones agree.
#37
Likewise, wouldnt touch three with a barge pole.
#38
i'm with 3 but on p.a.y.g, i top up £15 on line via "My Account" every 3 months as i get 600 free tx's to any network and 150Mb internet & free calls to anybody else on 3 ,the good thing is the tx's and internet last the 3 month's.With other's you have to top up every month to get your free allowance, if you only top up £10 you get 300 tx's i think. To get that amount you have to do it on line though,if you do it by voucher i think you only get half the amount of tx's.I don't even use much of my credit as i'm a light user and the missis is on 3, so free calls between us.I always have good coverage though, but i suppose it depend's where you live.
banned#39
I hate 3. One of the worse customer services dept going. They (or various agents of theirs) cold call you and hang up which is annoying, you ring back to tell them to stop ringing and they hang up. I had a phone with them a few years ago and bought my contract out as there was zero signal where i was - useless
#40
I think it's worth pointing out that in the past 3 used to piggy-back onto Orange's 2G reception when 3G wasn't available. They no longer do this as of this month.

This means if you don't have 3G reception where you intend to use this phone the most, you should consider moving on another network.
