Looks decent enough for me, majority of the better known brands with a 2.5Ltr bowl are way too expensive for my occassional cake making, and the cheaper ones around this price seem to have a very small bowl.

Available instore from Thurs 07/10/10 until stocks last.

Good deal

Hmmm, those stirrers don't look very sturdy. I wonder how quickly they'd bend out of shape if you actually tried to mix some dough with them.

300Watt! I'd be dubious about its dough mixing qualities with such a low power output, unless you're mixing a buns worth at a time. We have a 1400W kenwood and it sounds like it might struggle at times with approx 600g of mix (a 2lb loaf or two's worth) and looks like its doing the samba on the worktop with any more than that. I suppose for £15 its worth a punt though for cakes & the like and so for that I'm in.

Looks similar to the argos cookworks one for £10, which i would reccomend all day long, had a few expensive ones so not with the price tag

Ive got one of these - bought it last year when it was on offer , the chopper is usefull , it slots in the back for soups and stuf (its just as good as my kenwood one ) its just tricky to hold, the mixer is very good and beats egg whites perfectly , the fact the bowl moves around is very usefull - you do need to scrape the sides off , as for bread making ive made pasta with this and it worked well - id agree for £15 its worth every penny !

thats the one, its always on offer at around this price, yes bowl is smaller, although i actually dont mind it, all others ive tried i find the bowl too big, its awkward to mix in the big bowls for me, ive had double amounts in the little one fine and is easy to fit in the dishwasher and handle...but i didnt realise this one span and the chopper sounds handy too....i suppose its just a matter of what you want from a mixer, they both seem good deals just different specs.
