Please do not buy sunglasses from China. They should be bought from a recognised retailer.

i got an email form the website i have ordered sport watch before so i got back home from work then got this email i ordered one for my self then i posted here too hope it would be helpful for some one :)

is it really Rayban....
#6
Ordered one, thanks for sharing.
I wouldn't expect a Rayban for this price but if it is, then it's a bonus :-)
#7
I wonder if they really have Ray Ban written on them?

Ray ban doesnt mean that much to me anymore since the brand name was sold. The older USA made ones are of top quality, but the Italian made ones are pretty cheap. I doubt these are either of those cause they look like the £1 you can get off ebay from china

Very very much suspect that these are indeed counterfeit goods.

They sell counterfeit Sony DualShock3 controllers for £15.00 with blatant SONY branding and in different colours.

Not sure that this sort of thing should be encouraged on HUKD to be honest...

Very reluctant to buy cheap sunglasses. I know it says UV400, but they are not in any way tested to any UK recognised standard. Problem is these do more harm to your eyes than no sunglasses at all. Your pupils dilate and allow even more harmful UV rays into your eyes. Sorry to sound like your Dad, but please bear this in mind if you decide to order.

Rayban aviator model number is 3026, these are going to be nasty knock offs that I doubt will do you any good at all.
#12
Cold, sorry, if i wanted to get cheapo sunglasses i'd go for ebay, and I'd also go for polarised ones.
#13
got a feeling you might be waiting quite a while for delivery on these, good deal though
#14
Not good for anybody with a nickel allergy either

Recently bought a pair of "Oakleys" from focal price, then had a pair of Oakleys for my birthday off the missus, the pair from FP were at best crap and I imagine cost about 50p to make.

Guys...this is HUKD...no one mentioned they were Ray Bans....Lets get right down to the nitty and the gritty. Piece of metal with plastic/glass to keep the sun rays from burning your eyes for £3.19. And they make you look good too!

Certainly nasty knock offs, the soldering even looks of poor quality from the pics.
Agree with your comment, unless they are checked, its likely they will cause more damage than good.
China = No CE mark = DO NOT BUY!
"High Nickel" = Avoid!
"One size fits all adults" ... LOL !

I've had 4 pairs of these from Focalprice... I presume they are now cheaper cause they have had to remove the "Rayban" logo or at least remove it from the website. They are a PERFECT copy I have seen the real Raybans and these side by side and it's hard to spot the difference, however the Focalprice ones have a MUCH darker tint. Still at that price you can't go wrong!!!

Even came with a genuine seal that said "GENJINE" hahaha

Focal price used to sell fake iphones with the apple logo on... **** phone packaged up exactly to look like an iphone4, but they have since had to remove the logo so sell them without the apple logo but they still look identical. I presume it's the same with these. They have also changed the case, mine came in a rayban case for about £5 delivered!!!

Or people with no ears

I can't stop you guys from buying, but I can only point out that the reason sunglasses can be so expensive is because they actually provide protection against the sun.

These ones won't, and if you wear them like you'd wear regular sunglasses you're probably risking your eyesight.

But yeah, whatever. It's only a couple of quid.

Thats exactly what I was going to write but also add that poundland, 99p store glasses etc will offer UV protection where as glasses sourced from focalprice and dealextreme etc may not. Save your eyes and your money and get some cheaper glasses in the UK.
#27
are they really uv protect?

are they really uv protect?

They say they are, but they won't have gone through any UK testing, and any testing at all is a gamble at best. You pay your money, you take your chance.

Cracking pair of shades for 3 quid!

Mine came this morning - from china!
But gotta admit, they're pretty good, even if they do mash up my eyes..

Got mine too. Look great and for £3 I'm happy.

Please don't buy these. Chinese glasses often lack UV protection. If you've bought 'em, bin 'em.
