£308.00 -- Flights to Hong Kong from London (Return) Dates in OCT - w/Royal Brunei airways

tommytbone1tommytbone1

Just seen this in a email from travelzoo. One hell of a deal, must be the cheapest way to flight to Hong Kong ....

Return flights to Hong Kong from London for just £308, return. Choose between a range of dates in OCT,

****UPDATE**** unconfirmed by myself but.....

The flights at this price are shown as only being for 10 days, but frenchdevil10 has found that,

"you dont have to use their dates if you dont want to. you can mix and match dates they show. for example you dont have to stay for 1 week. you can select the 13th of october. and come back on the latest november date which is 9th of november and its still 308 pounds for a 4 week stay if you want."

Also, jedthefrog says,

"there is also an offer for HK hotels, up to 75% off....prices from £26-00........very cheap for HK........source hoteltravel.com
Go to Travel Zoo website, click on "Top 20"........13th. item (or thereabouts) on list"

SO you could grab a months holiday with £308 flights and cheap hotels !!!!! Wish i could go now!

Hot, but only thing that puts me off slightly is the flight time... 22 hours in total including transit.

that really is a bit too much... not sure about Royal Brunei either
    anyone flown with them before?

Flew with Royal Brunei to Singapore a few years back, they didn't give us the full flight details, Took off from Heathrow - Dubai - Brunei - on ground for about 5 hours then back to Singapore...Not the best flight i've had - but was very cheap..

Oh and its dry aircraft ( Alcohol free !....)...22 hours to Hong Kong doesn't make it any good for a weekend jaunt !

That is one hell of a route! Well if budgets your things, and you have a interest in visiting airports for a few hours... then this is a roasting hot deal for you ;)

ppl better think twice .. i clicked thru and found the flights is a 2 stopper .. i take over 20 hours and you can only pick certain date range and only allow you to for around 7 days .. far too many restrictions tbh

I've flew with Royal Brunei all the way to New Zealand. They are fine, all their fleet are ex-Singapore Air 777s with full VOD service.

Great airline, great service (and great pens that they give away on flight!)

Only thing is that it's a dry flight but you can BYO.

Excellent spot, and a great price, BUT......you missed a bit!

On the same e-mail (go to travelzoo's website if you don't get it) there is also an offer for HK hotels, up to 75% off....prices from £26-00........very cheap for HK........source hoteltravel.com

Hmmm mildly tempted, may be unemployed in a couple of weeks, could do with a holiday..

Though a 7 day one with 20hr journey time e/w might be too much too handle...

Hong Kong is a great fun place to visit!

Oct 29th to Nov 9th seems OK - there for 9-10 days

tempted to book this, went to HK earlier this year and loved it. Want to go back but its the 22 hour flight which i am not sure about as we flew BA direct....

Voted hot because there's probably no cheaper way to get to Hong Kong!

Looks good if you're on a real budget but for my money I'd pay the extra for a shorter journey - particularly if I was going for a short trip.

damn...too long a journey but at this price its a steal!

So, what's wrong with HK in October? Is it monsoon season, a ridiculously hot month, suffering plagues, about to go to war or be invaded. Anything specific to October that might be less than fun for a holiday?

It's bad enough with a direct flight of 12 hours, 22 hours and no Booze no thank you
