Try the Virgin deal on here 3 days ago for £15 or the EE one 6 days ago for £15, both for 20gb.
EE regularly have deals better than this for data, example being the 32gb I have for £14.50.
Oh, and it's Three......

Just noticed it's for 30gb not 20, you can still find better deals elsewhere if you're patient, and it's still Three!

Pretty sure you tether on this as well.

Wasn't the EE deal just for existing customers? The only one for new customers was £20 and speed was limited to 20mbps. Not worth it really

Nope, anyone could get it. Speed is their best (4x I think it's called) I'm getting over 50mbps in a rural area (I use it as home broadband as landline is as low as 500kbps!)

What better deals can you find elsewhere for this price? There aren't any.

I'm on a virgin sim. Good deal. But their internet is rubbish away from wifi hotspots. Luckily I don't need to use it outside much.

I'm in NW London and did a speed test with Virgin and Three - both using iPhones.

Virgin sim in an iPhone 6 was 2-4 times the speed of Three in an iPhone 6S when testing with the Ookla speed test app

Not everyone I think you'll find it was for existing customers or as a second new line for existing customers. I called but they wouldn't offer me anything close.

It was a retention offer to counter the Virgin Mobile deal I think

I'm on 3 as well - been with them for years.

4G speeds travelling across London are really slow. If I'm not going from side of town to the other by Tube, I'm doing it by overland train. Trying to stream iPlayer on 3 is a joke. Speeds are terribly slow, signal cuts out near Hampstead etc.

Either the service has gone downhill or there are simply too many subscribers on the network nowadays overloading it's capacity and killing download speeds.

I go to a bar in Fulham and I get no signal. Same thing within certain parts of the sports club I go to. Oddly the service fine when I'm indoors at home. Very inconsistent signal availability and 4G download speeds.

If I could find a cheaper/better deal, I would seriously consider switching.

I don't recommend 3 - they're cheap for a reason - the service is seriously patchy.

Totally agree with the issues on speed with Three. I travel through the city (financial district) part of london, I have 4g but the speed is zilch. It does nothing. On the train out of London it is intermittent and poor. This is normal and has been for the past year. Usually around peak periods with commmuters around in the city so I imagine there is a massive strain on the network cell. Still, it's not helpful when for example you just want to search Google, read a text based website etc. My contract is up with Three and I'm looking for an alternative. Fact is though my coverage is OK most of the time but speed isn't what it once was. I think they've been really successful with establishing new customers but the network is now suffering. With the likes of Vodafone offering good deals, people are moving over. I spoke to three retentions about the Vodafone Red Spotify deal and they couldn't match it. I had considered Vodafone but when I visit family I only get G or E data whereas Three I get 4g 25mbps! Crazy.

I concur, there are few spots in London where reception is great. But overall very patchy, inconsistent and slow 4G signal. Lot of dead spots when using overground or train. And don't forget 0 customer loyalty incentive.

Three are no longer a competitive network. They want to match the competition instead of beating them, which is what they used to do.

4G service in the UK is pretty useless compared to a lot of other countries I've been to.
