I was on the lookout for a traffic safety mirror as visibility off our drive isn't great.

Most of these are from around £40 upwards but this is a snip under £20! They have others ones too from under £17 delivered (though you can buy the exact same off fleabay for £28 if you prefer)!

Useful for shop security etc. as well.

1% quidco too!

Where would you fix this? Surely to work best it needs to be accross the road? so not on your property?
#2
that's right, I'll fix it across the road!

Many people who have poor visibility from their drives live in rural locations and have no problem with fastening to a tree or post over the road. Urban driveways are usually more carefully planned and also on slower roads and so are less likely to have such safety issues.

Well worth the money, if in rural area take a look you will see a lot of these dotted around. HOT.

Is there some way I can attach it over my standard rear view mirror?

Be cool to have this as a Giant rear view mirror. :)

Duct tape:thumbsup: You would legally have to attach a warning to it stating "objects in the rear view mirror may be denser than they actually are"

I was genuinely curious as I get the vision of some power hungry council employee removing them under some ancient bylaw

Highways dept *will* remove them if they are not on private land (and it's been known for them to take down even ones on private land)

They claim that there is an increased risk of accidents involving cyclists and motorbikes because people never look properly.

I'm sure this is a good deal.

alot of drivers should fix this on their cars

Some cars should carry a similar warning re. the driver

ie. 'some drivers may be denser that they actually appear'!

yes, another pointless sign.....i can see it now in the future....every road with 100 signs a metre

Might get a few of these on put them on roads around here, so many fat white van drivers blocking roads it annoys me, you can't see **** when pulling out of the roads.

Thanks Woodstock, have been looking for one of these this week so great timing. Around half price of those elsewhere and free postage. Have some heat and rep.

This would be really handy for putting on the flagpole across the street as only the other day I was thinking....

"I know if there was a convex mirror up there,
27º vertical, 42º horizontal, I could see straight into Matron's bedroom! "

;-)

Dr. Tinkle: It's an enigma Matron. An enigma.
Mr. Roper: I'm not having another one of those.
