Deal is a bit complex but well worth it. Trounces all other £300 AV deals on the market.
The SR507 is currently for sale on their site for £200 but you must ask them to match their EB4y price which is £180. The Tannoy FX 5.1 sells for 130. It is advisable to collect from their Romford office to avoid paying their postage charges (a hefty £36 in all). Am on my way to collect mine..

Note that the Onkyo is a refurb that comes with one year warranty from Onkyo

*cannot resist*

Never heard of this cheap make before, for another few quid you could get a decent make like a Sony!? :whistling:

...more seriously, it looks like a great price for some great kit.

good deal.

I have the 607 and some Tannoy F1's and it sounds great.

the amp does run hot though so give it room to breath

hmm 507 for £150 at RS apparently, just FYI. might have to... (though the 607 looks a better bet, I don't think I can argue with a 507 at that price)

I was originally going for it BUT.... you still need to collect it and stock is VERY VERY limited. There are 5 units remaining for the whole of England... Good luck

Give them a call and ask them to put it on eb4y for you with a price that includes the delivery. Then buy it through quidco to get some cashback... Mind you they add £36 for delivery

yeah 2 in London & I'll be up there Monday... but also saw they "may be ex-display/ex-repair" which doesn't fill me with much confidence for going on a goose chase anyway. I might hold out for a decent deal on a 607...

Guy told me no remote and no manual. Another one told me that the receiver was on loan and wouldn't be back for four weeks. WTF!!!!

For difference between 507 and 607, check here http://www.onkyousa.com/products_compare.cfm & here. not that much TBH

The site looks like a bad clone of the Superfi website, which combined with the name makes me think it may be dodge. Has anyone ever heard of these guys before?

the upconversion of analogue inputs & outputting them over the HDMI (I think that's 607 and above only?) was a selling point for me. not the biggest one in the world though.

Hyperfi has been around for quite some times and regularly advertise in london newspapers (evening standard and metro). They've been around for 10 years or so.

607 can also go to 9.2 where as the 507 will only do 5.1. And the 607 has 6 HDMI inputs. Good price for the 507 though.

I have this exact setup (purchased from HyperFi too!), and I have to say it's never let me down.
Great set of kit, great price :)
