Same spec as the Hanspree, lots of inputs but is not wall mountable apparently. I've had 2 Digimate monitors for PCs over the years and they have been excellent, expecting the same from this telly when it arrives on Wed. Why not order the Targus laptop backpack for £5.74? It's another bargain :)

Ye i got one of these few months back from Dabs, they list them as "Dabs Value", can pick a refurb one up there for 200£ sometimes, got mine for 211 and registered through digimate website for 3 year warrenty. Tv picture is really good, nearly as good as my 32" panny, Sound on this tho just aint to hot, best link it upto an external source

Cheers cammeyz :-D I thought it would be a good TV because of the monitors I've had which were Digimate. Most of the reviews on Ebuyer say the Standard Def is great using Scart, what's your take on it? Oh and does the sound remember where you left it when you turn the TV off?
#5
Ye sound/picture stays tweaked when switched off/on  SD is as good as can be i guess, got mine linked up through hdmi V+ and sd couldn't be any better. HD tv/Ps3/360 is as you'd guess mint, tho theres only 1 hdmi port on this, so would really need a splitter if your gonna link it upto a few bits of HD kit :)

Nice! Can't wait to get it :)

Having a bit of Insomnia tonight...

Yup its 5:30am :D I just ordered the 32" Hannspree, £5 more - is this a better TV?

No idea, pretty much the exact same specs apart from this has 1 less HDMI port but it's about 5Kg lighter. The Hanspree has a 2 year return to base warranty which doesn't seem to be very good according to the AV Forums where someone has had to get their replacements replaced twice. The Digimate has a 1 year onsite warranty. I chose the Digimate as I've had good experiences with their monitors.

Can't seem to sleep so just working away at my Uni essay, still got 1000 words to do by the end of today

Ebuyer stinks *UK mainland shipping only* what more can you say....recently they tried to reduce the charges for smaller things....but they weren't the cheapeset for a lot of stuff anyway....someone should start a "regional" section for HDUK...come on edi!

dabs have a LTV-3203H listed as well for 279.99 but it looks different to this?

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?quicklinx=4C4W&SearchType=1&SearchTerms=LTV+3203H&PageMode=3&SearchKey=All&SearchMode=All&InMerch=1

http://www.dabs.com/images/product/uni2/4c/4c4w_large.jpg

they also have plenty of returns for £241.77 so many infact that it makes you wonder how reliable these sets are....

That one seems to be the 3204H http://www.digimate.co.uk/product_new/digital/LTV-3204h.htm

It comes with a 1 year on site warranty so I'm not sure what the returns are about? Plus once you add on delivery it's not that cheaper

Thats one ugly looking set, seems to be much heavier as well,

Would definately go for the ebuyer one over that.

Voted cold - this tv is **** - lots of picture flicker, very budget set...you couldn't give it away...
#14
Have you had one Bigfootpete?

Edit: I should be getting my TV on Monday, hurrah! wasn't supposed to be sent out till Tuesday

What a load of toss. Maybe you have a faulty one as there is no flicker that I can see on my set. Yes it is a budget set but its no worse than many branded tv's.

Also this set can be wall mounted - you just unscrew the base.

That was what I was thinking phishwak. I noticed the 4 holes in a picture of the back of the TV. Any idea if it's VESA compatible?

Got one for my Mum, and it only lasted 2 months. Screen developed a fault. She is only a basic user (TV only), so how long will this TV last for serious users?
#18
Just set mine up 30 minutes ago, great standard def picture and even better HD picture (duh) No flickering at all, tested it by watching and episode of Futurama on DVD and playing a little bit of CoD4 :)

Hi guys
Any idea why this TV has just appeared on e-buyer and yet all the reviews are from sept 2007? Where are the recent reviews then????????

previous stock Marx :) the new stock was overdue when I ordered

Thought I'd delay doing coursework a bit longer and give a mini-review

great screen for the price, looks smashing. Only found 2 problems so far.

1st problem is the remote, the sensor is on the right of the screen and you have to really point directly at it to do anything and it's very slow at changing channels.

2nd problem is the zoom function. It may just have been my DVD player but I was getting flickering at the bottom corner when it was in the 4:3 mode. Not noticed it on either of the Xboxs or my Wii though
