Another Today Only deal.

Obviously not the best tv....but a decent price for anyone wanting to use it for a bit of gaming I'd have thought!

It's a decent TV, I used to use it for my 360 until I got my 37" Samsung.

Exactly...if I linked to the Today Only page, I'm sure someone would have moaned!

Some people don't realise this though that if I'd linked to the product, it would not have added it to their basket at the lower price!

How do you get free delivery? Also does it really come with a 3 year guarantee?

I have this telly and it's not bad.

Mine came with a 3 year guarantee from Digimate in the box so I imagine it really does have the warranty.

just a note of warning regarding the Digimate warranty, i had a truly dreadful experience with them, sent my monitor back 4 times but the never fixed it i believe that they never even looked at it.. In the end i just gave up & told them to keep the pile of ****. I even wrote to there head office, I've never known a company with such a blatant disregard for its customers.

I had a 32@ HDTV from digimate for exactly 1 year and 4 days until it's screen stopped working properly... and yep you guessed it, it had a 1 year warranty and the customer service was ****..... I wouldn't buy another product from this company even if it was really really cheap. Spend a bit more on a named brand HDTV or go with a monitor (they generally have a 3 year warranty) if your setup can handle it - ie. monitors don't have scart sockets or freeview built in, but they can come with HDMI/DVI connections.... I use one now from Dell, full-HD 1080p 24" widescreen and cost just over £200, has HDMI and DVI, so have my PS3 hooked up to HDMI and computer hooked up to DVI.... both the PS3 and computer connect to a 5.1 surround system through optical.

I've got this TV and yes you can mount it on the wall. You need to unscrew the stand (just two screws IIRC) and get an adjustable universal bracket.

The sound is awful in the deafault settings but mess around with a bit and it sounds pretty good after that. I can take a picture of the settings if anyone really wants them.

I've had mine for over a year now and no problems so far, SD picture is good - HD picture is excellent.

I'm hopeless with stuff like this, so if you could take a picture of the setting I would be greatful :-D

Got this really to connect an Xbox360 and Wii to but I'm sure it will be used for normal TV too

I got one of these TV's last June when I moved house. I think a previous poster sums it up pretty well, I would however say that SD on it doesnt look that great but HD looks more than acceptable.

The sound is poor if I am being honest. However, how much does a bog standard 2.1 system cost now. 30 quid? I have mine rigged up to a 5.1 that I used to use on my old PC, run it straight from the headphone jack for the TV and optical for the PS3. Sounds great now.

You will have to play around with the image settings to get the balance that you like. Be prepared to make the trade off between its poor reproduction of the blacks and over exposure but find a happy medium and you should have a decent set up.

Yes, you can go out there and spend comfortably double this amount on a decent branded TV or even tripple it for a very good one but then, thats down to personal choice.

Cancelled my order for the Daewoo.

hmmm decisions decisions......no mention of component connections on the site tho so bit wary - as would need that to connect the 360 in bedroom too

On the Scan site, under "Product Overview", it says:

This Digimate LTV-3203HT LCD TV and with its widescreen display produces an immersive viewing experience.

HD Ready - now with Freeview TV

--------------------------------------

I'm guessing therefore that it did not used to have freeview, but does now!

The LTV-3203H doesn't have Freeview but the LTV-3203HT does have it. Both have component input, I use it for my Xbox.
