Please excuse my suspicions,,, but is this a personal referral scheme...as there is a URN at end of your link ?

"Register now and get ₤6 for every recommendation!"... is what jumps out at top of every page

I apologise in advance if I got this wrong... it is afterall a bit early
Cheers

That referral tag is a standard Groupon thing - nothing to do with the OP.

Stayed at the one in Glasgow opposite the SECC last January I found it excellent.

Must be something to do with the fact it was £1 per room though.....hahaha, so be looking forward to them repeating that deal.

Agreed though, if a Travelodge or similar was around the same price,I would opt for that, Campanile was basic standard at best.

Please be aware that this hotel is nowhere near Leeds Centre but on an industrial estate
on the outskirts of Bradford (Off M606)

I had to check for myself & you're not kidding are you? It's roughly halfway between Bradford & Cleckheaton oO.

Stayed in the Campanile in Cardiff last December when it was a £1 a night. Rooms are all outside chalet style that were freezing cold (electric wall heaters that are centrally controlled are only on for a few hours a day)!! Booked two nights but went home after one due to not being able to sleep as so cold. Even at a £1 a night, I was overcharged 99p. Sleeping in the car would have been more comfortable.
