Samsung? Unheard of make, you should get a Sony.

Must admit I'm tempted to replace my CRT with this - most of what I watch is iplayer and DVDs and I'd like iplayer on a bigger screen than my laptop (which refuses to give a decent picture when connected to my CRT).

Are reviews really bad? Any better solution to get iplayer on a TV on a budget?

Just returned back from M+S - looks a good picture connected via Scart to a DVD. Although its not top notch it has internet TV (ie iPlayer) which can connect via ethernet or USB wifi dongle (sold separately).

I've got the 26" version of this - had been looking for a 26" for the bedroom anyway and thought £199 was a decent price for new with 5 years guarantee. SD picture is okay, HD picture via Bluray is great, the menus etc are garish and cheap-looking, but the set itself is nice to look at as it's unbranded and clean-looking. The big downside with this set is that the internet functionality - which is basically used as the main selling point of the telly - is utter crap; Youtube doesn't function, Iplayer does but is a nightmare to navigate around and just totally frustrating. I'm very happy with it as a 'bedroom telly', but would be mightily peeved if I'd bought it as a 'gadget' to play with, 'cos in that respect it's just totally naff.

Can't get it for that price any more Nobull as it's now not available for home delivery, therefore no cashback. Instore purchase only.

We watch iplayer via the channel on the wii if you have one and also youtube via the internet channel on the wii.

Why do people get suckered in to believing quoted discount values.... if anyone actually thinks this tv is worth £500 in the first place they are seriously deluded. £250 would be more realistic starting price and any discount should make it less.

There have been countless branded 32 inch and bigger for much less than £500, hence my point, and many around the £300 braket,

voted cold because it should be a lot cheaper to compensate for being rubbish. sorry.
