The posts on this site get worse every day and leave me wondering what next, maybe someone should set up www.averagesupermarketdeals.com and put stuff like this on there and let the real HOT deals shine thru , voted cold

Well Done, Super Deal. Shame Some People Are So Rude About Supermarket Deals. They Have Their Place In Our Lives And I Find Them Very Helpful. Thanks.

If you don't like supermarket deals just block them! Go to the Customise link and set up your Custom tab to show whatever you want and don't add the Grocery topic...voila no more supermarket deals.

I love them, usually 50p each or more aren't they?

I used to bake them when I worked at BP Safeway (from frozen premade things) but never tried one until recently

Yes got to agree the posts on this forum get worse every day, the majority of which are not hot deals but people just moaning about them. :x As pointed out above you don't have to look at the "inferior" posts.

It isn't all about half price plasma tvs ect, little deals like this are part of what the forum is, you wont rush out to buy them, but if you are going there anyway, grab a tasty bargain.

I have an idea for what you can do next - don't reply!

Anyway, this is a brilliant deal. They are normally £0.59 for two. I often have a pair of these with my lunch. When timed well, you can occasionally get these warm out of the oven - very sticky and delicious! Not a patch on real Danish pastries in Denmark ... it was worth going to Copenhagen just for the pastry :-D

I would normally, but after I realised how much sugar and stuff they put in these jars (for preservatives etc), I have decided against it. Made 8 good portions of Spag Bol this evening from scratch and it worked out at about £1 per portion (and a few pence more when adding the spaghetti and cheese) to make the whole lot. I can't believe I have converted to old-fashioned "cooking" ... !

Depends on when you want it delivered. Typically £5:p

Some deals are "let's rush out and make a special trip to grab it while we can", whereas others, such as this deal, bring your attention to something you otherwise may not have realised...so if I end up in Tesco tomorrow, I'll check for half price cinammon swirls.

A deal is a deal, and I for one am grateful.
#29

Are you sure? In the 6 months I have regularly been scoffing these at my desk, I have never paid more than 59p for two.

And the person who mentioned the 12 tins of chopped toms, thank you. I will have some of them
#33
i wont make a new thread as it will cause some rage with the food nazis, but also 10p for 1 jam dough nut at tesco :D
