cheers :) don't forget the free stand and delivery ;-)

In my experience most deals start out cold because there must be a few numpties who just "cool" every deal they find for the fun of it. Give it an hour or two, and you'll get warm.

potentially silly question given im the one who posted this deal up...

The one thing I can't see any info about is the stand that is included with this deal. Does anyone have any info on which stand it might be?

In my experience, every deal starts out cold and then warms up as people vote....

It happens on every thread without fail, the good old "why are people voting cold" post...

Just so people know it is an ok deal but this tv is now considered an old model with Toshiba recently having released newer ones.....
#13
I got this tele with stand for less than 400 notes but this is still an okay price.
The tele is fantasitc - for my bedroom and PS3 play.
#14

#15

Erm...no. That is not a better TV. Samsungs suffer awful motion blurring problems. Do some research. The C Series toshibas get favourable reviews. I have the 32C303D and it was a great tv. I regret switching from that to my sony bravia.

Great deal for a good tv. These have very good video processing capabilities.

The newer models arent actually as good as the C series. Don't get caught up with all the numbers floating about with contrast ratio etc. Do some research into the C series.

PS. By the newer models I mean the AV range which is has been released at the same price point as the C series.

I bought the Visitron from ebuyer for £299 + £12 next day delivery and picked up a gorgeous glass stand for £40 from Argos. I know this is a branded telly, but I cannot fault my unbranded one for specs or looks.

It might have a good spec and look pretty, but what is the picture/sopund quality like? i've heard some good things about the vistron but people have said that they have had trouble with a weak freeview tuner, poor speakers and dodgy remotes. In the end, that's why I opted for the sony for the extra money as I couldn;t put up with the potential weaknesses of the vistron. I do however, wish that I had got another Tosh C series instead as the bravia isn't worthy of its hype.

Link to stand at Amazon for £40.

I have this tv and stand from Play.com some months ago at £419.

Excellent tv for the money and the stand looks good too...... makes the tv look like it's floating.

Seconded...also, the cheaper TV that was mentioned does not come with a floor stand or VGA input which is important for those that might want to hook up a home entertainment PC or pre HDMI XBOX 360 via the VGA cable.

Average Price for a Branded TV. Still voted Hot as TV very good Quality for a 32 LCD. I have always Thought LCD comes into it's own up to 32inch. Any biggar I would go Plasma (Unless Just for gaming purpose) as there picture quality blows LCD out of the water at the moment still at 37 inch +. (Although LCD panals are getting better at the lager sizes.
#25
Great price, though with delivery this comes to £422.61. Still cheapest around for this model and you get the stand thrown in.

Thanks OP
#26
I've got this TV, and picture quality is superb.
Definitely HOT.
#27
I'm afraid to say I'm not very impressed with his TV. I bought it for £430 (with the free stand) from Play.com back in February. The picture quality is no where near as good as my Samsung and the sound sometimes sounds tinny.

I'd give the TV 3* if I were to review it...

Sorry - The OP's post says the above, but look at Scan and hard disk recording has a X next to it - a bit misleading... Sorry about jumping the gun, More at Tosh in the discontinued section.

There's nothing beside it (it should have a Yes if it had that feature). Trust me when I say this tv does NOT have a integrated hard drive.

Why do people think this is such a great deal when Bargain crazy have the same tv for £371 delivered?!? (as long as you create a new account and use new customer voucher)

Yes, but that TV doesn't appear to have the VGA input I mentioned earler. Also, there's no stand included. Didn't say this was the cheapest around...said that for the spec and the stand...this is a v. good deal :)

Pondrew, which TV are you referring to on Bargain Crazy? The one in your link? I don't think it's the same tv. For a start, the model number is different.

updated the OP to include 'YES' or 'No' where this a tick or cross on the scan website, to make it slightly clearer. Oddly, they put a cross by HDTV. Surely this an HDTV model?

The bargain crazy model is Toshiba 32C3031D. Look on AV Forums and you'll find that there are no known differences between the 32C3030, the 32C3031 and the 32C3035...

Eh? The 32C3031 is meant to be identical spec to the 32C3035!

Just found the Play.com listing for the 32C3031D just for a more reliable spec...
