Hi can you e-mail me the picture so i can look at it closer and also does anyone now if this has a PC input?

and would this be in liverpool costco?
#15
Not so keen in white but you can't argue with the price and warranty - A few people are amanging to get the black version for £350 from Dixons cos they are out of stock of the seemingly inferior 436 model but as far as I know that is just with Manufacturers Warranty...

Hot from me
#16
It is available nationwide and unless it is sold out. They also have a Sony 40 in. lcd tv for about £640.00 after discount. It is a 1080p model (D3500).

Fair TV, May take a look at this today and cycle up to Costco. Not sure about white but need to see with my own eyes, may work well with the colour scheme in the other Room. Cant fault the TV for that Price and 5 year warrenty. Voted Hot.
#18
definately a good price, personally i wouldnt want a white surround when i am watching tv, but thats definately not a deal breaker, so hot from me.

According to this site it does.

http://www.ciao.co.uk/Samsung_LE_32_A455__6881248

Doesn't say what resolutions it supports though. Should be 1360x768 for the 360 though. If that's what you're thinking.

I was in Sheffield Costco at the weekend as I'm looking to buy a new TV and they had this Samsung and also:

Sony KDL-32S3020 for £434
Samsung le32a558p3f/xxu £552 (100hz model)
Pansonic tx-32lxd85 £575 (100hz model)

All including 5 year warranty and 90 day money back guarantee!!

I checked all of the above models and you cannot find them cheaper elsewhere with this warranty level, in fact you are lucky to find the TV at the same price with only 1 year warranty!

I think I'll be going back for the Sony. The Samsung was ok, but VERY plasticky build quality and the picture was not as good as the Sony, so I'll spend the extra 60 quid.

wonder what if would look like 6 months down the line if you smoke or have it near a sunny window...

i really doubt this would make a diff as samsung are fantastic build wuality and unless you sit blowing smoke at your screen which would probly wreck any tv regardless of colour you will have no worries

From looking at all of the TVs in Costco I would say that the Samsung screens themselves are pretty good, but the actual surround itself is very plasticky and seems 'cheap' in appearance compared to Panasonic and Sony sets, especially with the gloss-finish - the reflections in the store were quite bad and it looked a bit tacky IMHO.

So how do I get a Costco membrship? I really want this TV
