This price is without VAT or delivery. Adding on those two takes it up to £35.78. OP should specify this in the main post - I thought I was getting a real bargain until I looked at the Scan website.

it is 21.99 + vat (on the today only page) , but + £4.79 postage.
so totals £31.18

YES, it would be helpful. And your snotty tone is most UNhelpful.

Just had to swap one of these drives out of my dads laptop. I don't think it is faulty but sometimes just doesn't appear to spin up in time for the BIOS to detect.

Probably a rare issue but worth thinking about maybe. My dad has a Toshiba A120 laptop.

The free p+p is not open to everyone as you need to be a member for 14 days .

You have to be a member for 14 days. Since this is a "today only" deal, I don't think there is much chance of free delivery through this method.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Yes you can.

I have this fitted in my Macbook and have had no issues with it so far. I payed about £36 from scan about 2 months ago, so this is a decent deal.

I was thinking these have power management issues that don't make them very good on Ps3's? i.e they spin down all the time.

Ordered one this morning for my wife Macbook since she has filled up her 100GB drive with all manner of Warcraft related junk.

Great price, and of course free (next day I think) delivery from Scan.

Warranty period?
#30
I can't see this on the page.

Common Sense
Warranty period?

Scan normally give their own 36 month warranty, which beats the PC world/Dixons 12 month!
#32
Excellent deal for me - will be ordering one for a little upgrade.
hot cheers
#33
Has this expired? dont see it on the Today page.
#34
Mine is now running perfectly in my wife's Macbook. Her old 120GB drive should go for around £16 on ebay, making this upgrade about £10. :-)
