Now I'm annoyed. I checked the today only deals earlier and it was not there. Ended up buying the Samsung 320GB at £27.97

Had an email saying they have dispatched the order too now :-(

I found this Western Digital drive to be a little noisier than some other drives so the Samsung is probably worth the extra!

i need a 500gb to 1TB 2.5" sata hard drive for my vu+duo box..anyone recommend a good one at a good price 7200rpm...the larger the cache the better as well...ta

WD is faster than competition. They have really high I/O performance at expense of read/write speed. Very good for running OS, but Samsung is better for storage. I have two of those in use right now and they feel quite responsive.

Proud owner of Vu+Duo Box myself, Vu+duo takes 3.5" full size hdd and not 2.5" so here is one for £42.40 plus free p&p (1tb size)

lol yeah ..was reading about this..read good reviews about this also has 3 years samsung warranty...might go for it...
