Cheaper here

http://www.svp.co.uk/technology/systems-pcs/hp-pavilion-desktop-p6110uk-retail-1pack-1outer_hp-01017.html

£309.88 (and there's an SVP discount voucher around to make it a bit cheaper)

Was £274ish last week from SVP. Waiting for mine to arrive.

EDIT : Previous thread here may have some extra useful info - and discount code for SVP

I am curious to know whether or not if this system is better than a Pentium QuadCore Q8400 PC / 4GB RAM / 1TB HDD / 256 INTEL GRAPHICS ?

My power supply outputs 255w max and wanted to know if i could use the grapics card in this AMD system with my current pc

This is faster. The CPU is faster, and the graphics better. But everything is relative. The graphics here are still only basic.

I know. As mentioned on the other thread not only do they rip you off but they take ages delivering it (over 4 weeks by the look of it).

I am pondering sticking with XP Pro (current OEM version I have but think I will be able to move it over okay) or buying Windows 7 Pro student upgrade (£37-£40) to get a) it quicker and b) a step up in Windows 7.

Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks to O.P. purchased on New Years Eve for £325 inc. delivery:thumbsup:

With regards to Windows 7 cost, this is still a bargain as same package is £450 on ebuyer.

May be a silly question but can you use two monitors as a dual display on this?

Cheers

I haven't tried it but I don't see why not - but as it has a digital and an analogue output you would have to have one monitor on digital and the other on analogue (or maybe HDMI as there is an HDMI out as well).
