I have several of these cards .... strangely the one I brought via amazon was duff (upper 16Gb) but they replaced it no problems (totally FOC) and new card works like a dream ... I would recommend these.

Best to test with h2testw when you get it .. I do this with any make I buy
#11
will it work with cannon 450d?
#12
Heres the old thread with £21.49 price

Me too. Got my money back from 7dayshop OK though
#14
What do you mean by duff? I have one of the £21.49 ones, and it works fine so far (only taken about 100 photos and 30 mins of video using it, and can use it fine on the PC. Were they duff from the start, or did they work at first then die?

Doing H2testw now. I get a write speed of 8MB/s.

cold for me as I got it from amazon when it was 21 quid
#17
silly question, but will this fit in the samsung galaxy s2 as the sd card? Is it the right size?

Would really appreciate if someone can confirm.
#18
I wouldn't trust an unknown make with any of my camcorder footage or photo's.

no you want a micro sd card, if you find a decent one with the same specs for sub £60 then let me know :-)

This was cheaper via Amazon a few weeks ago, however there were a lot of negative reviews about these cards being lower capacity and having a slow write speed and not actually a class10
#22
I bought one of these from Amazon for £21.49. I have used it in my Canon 550d with no probs so far. Haven't tested the speed, but it took 20 shots in a row Ok.
#23
Bought 2 from Amazon at the lower price, both work fine for me on HD camcorder ,7dayshop goods have always been good value for me!luck of the draw?

it was faulty from the start .. it would write to first 16gb but then had errors, the test utility killed the card totally and I couldnt format it, but they changed it no issues

The lowest write speed on my cards has been 14Mb/s (h2testw) another utility rated it at 17Mb/s (using bench32) but my DSLR is happy snapping loads of shots in one go with no issues

Whereas some people 'bought' them!

my first Hard Drive was 85MB and cost about £250 now you can get 32GB for a tenth of that on a card ! seems unbelievable really, Looking forward to the 1TB SSD for £100 (think I may have to wait a year or two though)
#28

I never buy cheap stuff, friend of mine bought one and died within 1 month it is very cheap make, just compare to sandisk and you will know what I am talking about
#30
Will windows 7 fit on this? Thinking of a netbook project....
#31
I bought one on amazon from 7dayshop and tested it using h2testw which confirmed it as a 16GB card which fools devices into thinking its a 32gb card!
As soon as you reach 16gb on the card it goes t*ts up - and you loose all your precious memories (photos/videos).
Don't risk it - buy a PNY or other known make.
#32
7dayshop is class imo

Yeah I bought a couple of SDHC cards recently and just went for sandisk cards. Photography takes time and time is life, and my life is too important to chuck away on a suspect card. Imagine just one days shooting going Harpic wise let alone a weeks worth. Pay a premium for a premium card.
#34
I bought four via Amazon. One arrived with a 1GB capacity and has been returned for replacement. After that and reading some of the comments, I think I will have to do some stress testing before using them for anything of value.
#35
Ordered from Amazon with 7dayshop but have not received item. But I am glad because of what other people have said.

Mine had about 6 to 8GB on before it died. They may be cheap but don't risk losing your data and precious pictures.

Yes.

I dont think so, Class 10 Extreme? some Sandisks write at 45mbps, but thats like double this price.
#38
All these comments have got me worried about the one I ordered from Amazon.
So far it's been fine (my Avatar was taken on my new 550d with it), but I think I'm gonna have to push it to the limit to check it's up to the job.
#39
I've had one of these from Amazon that went Pop too! Waiting for a response from 7DS.
#40
Damn, got excited, thought it was a MicroSD for a minute.

Good deal despite my dissapointment.
