In Tesco today looking at all the various deals on SD, Micro SD and USB Flash Drives and noted that the two remaining 32GB Sandisk Cruzer Fit USB Flash Drive appeared to be two different versions. I therefore gave them a quick scan to see what the price was and if there was a difference, only to find they both scanned at £4.00.

Wild Geese aside, these scanned at £4.00 as opposed to having yellow reduced labels/stickers on them or appearing to be in any way managers specials, so I'll post and risk the wrath of the naysayers.

Images and details of both barcodes below .... Hope it helps.

I stopped using this site for months because I got fed up with Tesco in store deals. They are probably store specific and no doubt USB2.

Yes, Good Deal, I just bought two at £10 each after discount from £12 and very happy at that, yes mine were USB 3.0 as well.

I think these are USB 2.0 as different packaging with no Ultra; Nice to see some proper bargains at Tesco.

Two at £10 each AFTER DISCOUNT is not exactly the £4 each as per thread title is it?

Sorry I tried to correct my error so it would reflect that the items I bought were not these but the
Sandisk Cruzer Fit Ultra USB 3.0 32gb for £10 each instore at Tesco.

I did say this was a Good Deal and voted Hot.

I would agree as one package references being USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 (a compatibility reference), the other packaging makes no reference.

Which tesco?
As mentioned these were the last two remaining, but Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

If I have the time I always walk around electrical section but any good offers displayed will normally have an empty space under. I think that's why stores do it so folks wander around looking for the bargain deal. It seems a selling ploy that works as the electrical section must be the least visited part of store.

None at Tesco Seacroft but I did get a 32GB USB3 Fit. Scanned at £12 rather than £10 but thought this was a good price as it is £20 at Amazon.

There were a few yellow labels on USB sticks and SD cards so worth a look in your local store if you are after one or the other.

Store specific, only a deal if you can find one. Quicker finding a box of hens teeth.

You stopped using the site because of Tesco deals?
lol.
I carried on using the site, but took all of the Tesco hardware deals with a pinch of salt (and by that I mean "There's a 99.9% chance I won't find one, so I'll have a look if I'm in there but I won't make a trip specifically", not "the OP is lying").

Heat added. Will check out my local Tesco later today, but won't hold my breath... ;)
#31
what you have to realise is that a vast majority of these offers are store specific. Also end of range items.
#32
Checked my local extra (Beckton - East London), none of these but good reduced deals on other 16Gb style San Disk.

Hot IF you can find them

Dumb question (perhaps), but what are you using to scan these in store? Do you have an app on your phone or do you simply take it up to the till?

Tesco have a Scan and Shop option in most bigger stores - you need to be a registered Clubcard user and you scan that by the Scan and Shop at the front of the store, it gives you a handheld scanner and then you scan your shop as you go.

Bigger Tesco stores now have hand scanners for customers, Scan as you shop :)

Same, same! Eagerly looking forward to the mass clear-out in January like earlier this year. All these doubters saying it'll be a wild goose chase..... Pffffftt.

It was a dumb question, I know the scanners you're referring to. Thanks!
