was £199.99!!!!!!!

seriously, you could get 8x4gb sticks for far less, is the convenience of it all in the one worth the price though?

It's good to see the price of these larger capacity drives falling though - wont be long until they're < £20 too and 32gb becomes the size that "you'd buy".

Means that SSD drives for computers will fall dramatically too and the HDD will die. :D

Not me, I'd carry one 4GB stick around as that's as much as I'd ever need; and spend the rest of my £79.99 on an external hard drive I'd keep at home. That's not to say carrying 8 sticks around isn't as good an option, nor would I call anyone an idiot for suggesting it...

i didn't vote cold (not that i have to explain myself to the likes of you).

just pointing out (as you did) that there will be some who promote the carriage of 8x4 gb or indeed 4x8gb sticks as a cheaper alternative.

do not be so quick to jump the gun in future little one.

The point is that it isn't £199.99, the price is £75.

Could you get 8 x 4gb sticks for cheaper? Maybe but not much.

You guys are knocking this deal, but do you know how many times I've said to myself, "oh cr*p, I wish I had a 32GB flash drive just now! If I could just get one for less than 75 notes I'd be all over it like Nessa on an omelette!"

Oh hang on... nope... that's actually never happened.

I'm not voting cold though... I'm sure somebody "needs" one of these, and this seems like a good price to me.

Stick a few movies on and itll soon fill up. Great for carrying round a small library of movies. Thats what id use it for anyway. Fill it up and plug it into my dvd player so much more convenient as dont have to make room so often.

You could save a couple of quid though for £72.85 delivered from Amazon:

With this memory stick you are not just paying for size. You can get 32Gb fobs cheaper, but you are paying for the speed. This fob is very fast and well worth the money if speed is what you need.

Great deal! The prices just keep tumbling down!
