1366 x 768 resolution is that a pc native resolution or what as it says it supports full hd

Despite being a refurb, which basically means its been on show and is now in a brown plain box instead of a norm box... This is a very good deal at a very good price! So 9+ heat from me and I think I might just buy one for my parents :P

And possibly myself as well ^^

looks like a technika - the manual says 32-209 - so a quick google on that brings up this :-

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-5476.aspx which is £280 new from tesco...

Sorry, I don't think it's that great a deal.

They did this a year or so back but were selling Techwood (I think) for £199.99 refurb with three month warranty. They need to break the £150 barrier o make this one hot IMHO. :)

Not voted as may be good for someone on a budget.

not sure, don't like such short warranties, and may have been turned on for hours, over months, shortening its life.

Why? Sure it is the cheaper end of the market but "rubbish"?

This is an idea screen for the kids Xbox. These cheaper LCD's look magnificent on gaming - less so for TV.

Very good value for money. According to Cnet review, the screen detail is as good as some sets twice it's rrp of £280.

So at £200 it's very good.

So, 50% of the warranty, and it's what.... about 28% less than the full price for a used broken and patched up one & that makes it is worthwhile? Will it still be so worthwhile after you have paid to return it to them if it goes wrong too?

Not my idea of a good deal.

Reviews are not what I would get excited about in the first place 6/10 overall :-(

Worse than that, it's actually another seven quid for delivery in the first place!
#20
Voted hot, good for those on a budget who just want a telly to watch telly on!
Even though it is a refurb, the 6 month warranty offers additional peace of mind; non-branded second hand 32" lcd tvs sell for similar prices on gumtree with no warranty.

I can't, doesn't make this a good deal to buy though.

If you're happy with a 6 month warranty refurb at this price then you don't need another link, this is already a hot deal for you.

Not many retailers sell this sort of second-hand tat, so no. Very rare that you see the sort of companies that do sell them cheap enough to make it a good bet (say 60% discount from new price might just be about approaching where a decent buy would start.)

I would suggest that there are not ANY LCD TVs of this size that would be a good buy at this price, as it is just too cheap for a new one of this size, so the only option is one of very dubious background with a very short warranty. Doesn't make this a good buy either, so if you can't afford a new one that would be a good buy (such as the Aldi one with a 3 year warranty for 300 quid listed today), then either buy a smaller model (plenty of 22" models lately for under £170, some on this site), you might even see the odd 26" for under £200, although rare; or save until you can afford one.

Tough choice, I know, but that's why these people can sell off such tat at such high prices, as there is such a ready market of people who aspire to a big LCD TV, but unfortunately just haven't got big LCD TV money a that time. It doesn't seem to happen with many other goods, just electronics - eg. a fairly recent second-hand car in a similar deal will have lost a very large proportion of it's original sales price, and will also probably come with a 12 month warranty, as well as being more readily repairable than most cheap TV's if it does go wrong! :?

If you buy this TV you will be the laughing stock of the nation.
Terrible, terrible piece of junk- mods please remove this and spare some poor sucker throwing good money after bad
#32
Sorry, voted cold. £200 for a no branded refurb with 6 months warranty? U must be mad! Either a TV that was dodgy/faulty and returned or a TV that has been swithced on for 14 hours a day 7 days a week being poked and prodded my grubbly little fingers...No thanks...+ You know its gonna break down after 6 months and 1 week...

Buy the above and get "free delivery" (works out at £3 for the goal if you subtract £6.99 delivery charge)
