Its the weekend, treat yourself to a nice meal :)

Go to Vouchercloud or download the Vouchercloud app

30% off all food inc deserts + sides , can use it on any food item

https://www.vouchercloud.com/flaming-grill-pubs-vouchers

"All of our steaks are 35 days matured"

"32 ounces of flaming great taste! Do you love steak? Are you up for the challenge? Then this is the one for you! • A butterflied rib eye on the bone • Served on sizzling onions • Mushrooms • Grilled tomato • Peas • Onion rings. Served with a giant portion of chips"

Technically steak can refer to any meat, not necessarily beef. Please ask the waiter before ordering to avoid disappointment ..

Thanks

I've given up ordering steaks in pubs! Cooking a steak is an art, too many spotty teenagers in the kitchen with no qualifications calling themselves a "chef" The steak needs to be at room temp before cooking and left to rest for a minimum 10 minutes before serving. Otherwise you will just get a lifeless, dry steak with no flavour.

I prefer my steak lifeless.

Silly question, but do they where do they source the pork cuts from? Is it uk based?

I hope it's not 23% fat like someone posted on another forum yesterday..

Sourcing Policy
At Flaming Grill we source our meat from suppliers who share our priorities of animal welfare standards, food safety and quality. To ensure we meet our guests’ expectations for quality and value, we work with suppliers all of whom comply with UK and EU animal welfare legislation standards, regardless of their location. We only source from farms that uphold the principles of the RSPCA’s Five Freedoms that are applicable to each meat species in order to ensure the health and welfare of animals throughout our supply chain. We do not sell or buy any meat products for any specific religious groups and we do not select suppliers based on their religious accreditation.

Smashed the back doors in on one of these just yesterday afternoon.

Was a pretty decent cut of meat to be fair, not just a novelty.

Not valid at all locations, and as luck would have it, not the one I will be eating at this weekend :(

Leave it at room temperature for 10 days rather than minutes and you'll find it's teeming with life :)

It's odd you need to chose a pub / then choose the "right" menu tab - try this one

I don't think animal welfare was really a priority there....I may be wrong but I think the cow in your picture is probably dead....

So, when I'm asked "And how would you like your steak?", I've been known to reply..."preferably cooked, und not going fer me throat" oO A good one (I thought) was when a steak arrived VERY rare (bloody) the customer remarked "A good vet could bring this one back" :|
