As title,
Royal mint has a flash sale (now ending @ 11:30am)
33% off the "premium" paid on 2017-dated Royal Mint Bullion coins and Royal Mint Refinery gold and silver bars.

So this works out about £20 cheaper per 1oz gold bar or £500 cheaper if buying a 1kg bar (Royal mint vs B,B,Post)

Scam?
Don't see how it can be - unless someone has hacked there site to place the banner ad and email existing customers.
But it does seem to good to be true - unless they know something we don’t.

If it works, this has to be the best deal ever posted - anywhere!

I'm guessing it's going to be impossible for technical reasons to make a purchase - nobody sells gold at a substantial loss.

The market price will be what it is but they add a premium to it, usually 3% for the sellers I've used. The discount being offered here is on this premium....so I think they'll be charging a premium of 2% rather than the usual 3%. Still not bad if you are buying gold anyway.
