There are still cheaper and better products on the market who are not hyping a product with million pound advertising campaigns which others sell for half the cost. They really should not be encouraged the are a poor image of the supplement market, they prefer pretty people adverts rather than investing in value for money and good quality ingredients

Agreed. It's not whether other brands may be cheaper but whether the item is question is the cheapest from the place the OP states.

Voted hot as cheapest around for these exact products

Lets see how the voting goes dudes maximuscle has few fans outside those only shopiing in big supermarkets and I believe Tescos is currently discounting it, to offload at the moment as they have had few sell. Overpriced product with a few quid knocked off does not a bargain make

Your ramping sending it cold dude, check back later.

What do you mean can't be found anywhere else? This is utter tosh. Maximuscle doesn't have a monopoly on whey, maltodextrin, creatine mono etc etc even if they would like you to think that they have. What they do well is market the products, hence the umpteen fanboi's that frequent these threads. If they want to pay 3 times the going rate for a whey concentrate/whey isolate mix, then good luck to them. Me? I'd rather see past the hype and marketing **** and get the same base ingredients $h1t loads cheaper elsewhere. Just a note also for those who attribute "results" or "gains" to a maximuscle product. How on earth can this be assumed:

a) When a supplement is exactly that. A product to supplement your existing diet (and will be a small part of the overall dietary picture) and;
b) State that maximuscle yielded results over and above another branded or unbranded product. A statement such as this would require a very sophisticated double blind study.

Bottom line, spend your money elsewhere, and enjoy spending or saving the difference in price.

Before you start having a go at me for voicing my opinion, you should maybe consider what i was saying. What was said is that "products cant be found anywhere else, that ive found for the price"

Not that "Maximuscle is the only body building supplement there is",
The website is the cheapest place with the 33% deducted from it to buy Maximuscle products, agree ?
Now in your opinion, it is over priced and all that, yes it might be overpriced, but if people prefer to stick with Maximuscle then they should be allowed to, personally i have used alot of whey proteins in the past 3 years, PHD and sci mentor being the best that ive found, my opinion as it has shown me the best gain.

a) When a supplement is exactly that. A product to supplement your existing diet (and will be a small part of the overall dietary picture)
True, but really we should all be eating a healthy diet and has it not been shown that some supplements, Creatine for example works better on a non caffinated diet. So yes some supplements will work better on different diets, hence the reason that you can get supplements with alot of protein in them.

State that maximuscle yielded results over and above another branded or unbranded product. A statement such as this would require a very sophisticated double blind study.

I dont think it would have to be a very sophisticated study tbh, it could be taking one set of maximuscle for 2 months, then another supplement for another 2 months, doing the same exercises and same routine, with same diet. . . Not too sophisticated ?
It can also just come down to the difference of opinion really

10% quidco too.

Agreed as stated above. We can take horses to water, but we can't make them drink.

That would be far from controlled. Clinical studies require as much control over variables as possible do provide credence to results obtained. Diet will never be identical. Sleep patterns will definately never be identical. Life's daily stresses? Training intensities? I could go on. There are umpteen uncontrolled variables which would totally undermine any conclusion reached.

All common variables that could never be solved as you would have to go to the nth degree with such things that you would start encroching on human rights ?

Im glad we agree on most things so far. But just to check on this, are supplements not also dependent on the human body for example the mentabolism of mine will maybe differ from yours ?
So what you find the best gains in i may not ? Just wanting to check on that ?
