When I picked mine up this morning (Ryman Oldham) They were still labeled up as £39.99 however once scanned the £34.99 showed up. The sales lady said their store had not been informed of a price reduction yet (might be the case with others)

Blimey, I have just googled to find prices for the ink and it really is sooooo cheap
Will this be any good for printing pictures? I don't take many and I don't want them really big either.

Alternatively Robert Dyas are selling the Hewlett Packard F2180 printer/scanner/copier for £29.99 (reduced from £49.99).

Staples £39.99 instore if you've got one local. Just mentioning it as it would be cheaper than paying the postage and it's instant gratification

I ordered some ink from the link above 9 weeks ago and still have not received it. I emailed them (again) last week and they said it MAY arrive in three weeks time.

The ink was for this printer.

I've got this printer and it's gr*; very quiet and quick!!!
I ordered ink last Monday and it arrived yesterday, that's 5 days, so not toooo bad. Make sure you order the 97p cartridges not the £1.27 double filled ones, as the double filled have been out of stock for ages now but they have plenty of the 97p's. OK, not quite same on value, but very cheap and unbeatable price. (97p ones have same amount in them as the original 'Brother' cartridges).
Hope this all makes sense, in summary........buy,buy,buy!!!!!

In my experience the cheaper Brothers are not brilliant for photos. I have the wireless DCP340CW which is brilliant for general printing but not brill for pics. I cannot get it to take good quality photo paper under any setting, as the paper has to bend thro 180 from the tray to print. It just jams every time.

Cheap ink here www.inkemporium.co.uk with free next day delivery.

Full set of 4 cartridges around £7.

Anyone locate a cheap DCP340CW for me....I need another.

Got this today with 10% student discount (they upped it. the guy at the till said it was only 5% a couple of days ago) so it came to a total of 31.49! brilliant deal.

managed to buy it with pinboard (£1 discount in pinboard offer) for around 38 quid to get free delivery. 10% quidco = 10% student discount so not bad at all. A bit more expensive but saved petrol and time cost.
