you do not have to, it will add the points automatically, I used this code on the last events day :)

I would advise people to be wary of some of the 3 for 2 stuff as I bought 3 presents(£15 each) and then got home and whats in them is not even worth £10, you can buy full the same things in the gift pack for cheaper!! Just because its in a box/tin doesn't make it that valuable! It likely works out not too bad when you get points to spend so i dont know if your saving all in all but you still hand over a lot of money and all the points go to boots in the long run when you spend them instore!!

Also note, i took my 3 gifts back and they never took the points back! so I got my £30 refund and £12+ of points (and a no7 gift back i should have returned?)

Anyone know if you get points if you use Boots gift vouchers please? (obviously instore as I know you can't buy stuff online with points).

I got points when I used boots vouchers last weekend :)

I spent £104 when the event was on at weekend. I used £50 Boots gift vouchers and £50 love to shop gift vouchers.
In the back of the love to shop voucher booklet there was a voucher to get 500 advantage points when you spend £50 of them.

So I got 2500 points!

i did the 3000 points thing the other day....orcer was £117....then had an email saying that 2 of the items weren't in stock so i've not been charged (after I had recived half the order already anyway!)....meaning my order was only £90 so daresay I won't get my points either now...Wish they had told be then maybe I could have made it up with something else to get the points... annoyed now!!

Cheers for that - just phoned them and said you could but you're not able to buy gift vouchers with Advantage points cos you do get points with vouchers. Was going to get vouchers with points I already have to get today's points but not possible (if that makes sense). :(

Well annoyed it was 1000 pts last week when I spent 50 pounds. Have emailed CS.

One week I shopped in store for the extra points. A couple of weeks ago I shopped on line and had delivery to Weston Super Mare. What a nightmare. Two visits to the shop, phone calls. Finally got the goods this week, shop assistant abandoned the queue to find the goods, I could feel the hate. Then they had shop lifters in the shop and the place was flooded by staff, unfortunately not serving customers. Never again.

I love it when Boots do this! Last time I got 1200 for spending £50.. this isn't as good but still hot!

just be carefull...when you spend £100 you ONLY get 2400 points for the event....you don't get the points on the actual spend (like you did last year) so you are missing out on an extra 800 points...according to the Boots Advantage card page, you should get 4 points per £1 spend...

so if you did this last year...just be aware...Boots have moved the goalposts....

I assume you'll get the points when you buy a car seat. You can always give it a try and add it into the basket with the voucher code. You'll know immediately how many points you get.

It still works for me. Make sure you got no space in front or end of the voucher code when you entered it.

I ordered alternatives I didn't want, just to get the points. I will either exchange them if the store has the items I want or get a refund. It seems like you will miss out on the points otherwise. Oh and thanks - code worked perfectly. Heat added.

Have to share this one with you!
Sorry in advance for being a big geek!

Bought 3 lots of £100 coming to an eventual spend total of £315.
Giving me 3000 points extra for hitting £100 each time
3000 points for 2 lots of Biotherm (buy 3 get 1500).
7200 points from 6 lots of 1200 for spending multiples of £50.
Plus actual product points, lets say another 300
So, equivalent to £135.
Not bad you might think, but it gets better....
I took back 2 lots of 3 for 2 deals on L'Oreal and other Christmas sets and got the cash back.
Giving me back £64, taking spend down to £250...they only took off £64 worth of points = 256 points.
Plus I bought sets in the No7 range which gave you free gifts, but then returned one of the items needed but kept the free gift.
Not wanting boots to screw me over with the points, i thought best to spend them straight away before they could be taken back.
I then went and bought 2 J'adore sets for the mother in law and mrs worth £63 a pop each and also a spot of lunch for myself with the points....now sitting at £132!
So, for spending £250, I got nearly £390 worth of products!
I plan to take back one of the Biotherm sets once the promotion finishes, giving me back an extra £45 pounds so it would be £205 spend for £355 worth of products.
Either way, for an hour on line and an hour taking to the shops and getting the refunds sorted, I am quite happy!
Thanks to the poster!
