The £11.99 Weekend Special price applies to a Class A car rented from Friday until Monday for a three-day total of £35.97. Similar discounts are available on standard daily rates up to a full size car or people carrier when reserved in advance at participating locations. Up to two additional days may be added at the standard daily rate.

A minimum three-day rental from Friday to Monday is required. Total charges include unlimited mileage within the UK, damage waiver including theft protection, third party liability, road fund licence and VAT. Additional surcharges, local taxes, etc. may apply. Optional excess waiver available, cost varies by region. Young driver fee applicable to renters under 25 years old. Valid at participating locations, excluding airports.

Rates may be higher at Central London locations and other geographic areas. Availability is limited and other restrictions apply, so call for details. Normal rental qualifications apply. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounted rate. Pick-up and drop-off service subject to geographic and other restrictions.

The offer price is £35.97, not £11.99!

Good price though

Agreed. Misleading.

Title updated.

Although it says Ford Ka or equivalent, we ended up with a Chevrolet Matiz. What a hideous car that was. I don't know if it had just been thoroughly mistreated, or is a terrible car, but I would never drive one again.

Heat added - could be useful for weekend away. Thank You

Why can a 20 year old like myself, drive a brand new insignia company car, but cannot hire a ford KA for a weekend?

YES OBVIOUSLY! You are failing to click on weekend special offer and then entering the details.

Don't know where you get that from Picard123. Its £600 you pay £10 / day extra to drop it down but you always drive with £100.00 even then.

They Run a Management Training Program. Details on their website. Graduate / Degree holder preferred. IM me if you want more details.

I got "upgraded" to a Matiz too! I would have preferred the Ford Ka! Cheeky blighters had reversed the car within millimetres of a brick wall and I insisted it was moved forward....... to reveal damage. Made sure it was put on the bodywork condition form.
#22
Dont see how this is a deal as it has been their regular price for over a year - i have had a bad experience with them, trying to charge for damage/marks that were already present. Also their excess is very high!

If anyone is likely to go for this I would suggest trying the easyjet car hire where they offer you double the difference refund. This way if you can find a cheaper car (I can't in my area). Then you can get some money back too.

NB. Its not Easy Car but EasyJet then 'Car Rental'

Strange world mate but even stranger is you could be at war in Iraq or Afghan & still not be able to hire one of these cars. Damn crazy world.

i cant see nothing about double the difference refund this on their website anywhere !!

Be careful, they are very pushy to sell you extra insurance and have a zero tolarance even on the tiniest scratch!!! They also use cheap car models, which some of them are awful to drive. Like a Matiz, Aveo.
My advice, check other companies first, there are always some offers out there.

Remeber my words! I travel a lot and have rented cars everywhere.
#33
You can get your own hire car excess insurance really cheap- like £8 a day from independent insurance companies. I always do this when hiring a car!

PS Most people do not have cars- e.g. a lot of people in London mostly use public transport and don't have car parking space!

anyone know why it comes up with (SPECIAL) £15.31 rate for class A now ?

Im trying to pick up this 11.99 deal but its not having it ?
