Agreed. (unless it's a Samsung):whistling:

The 37" with built in DVD player is a Neon at Morrisons (£350). Possibly the same brand for this one.

maybe make doesnt matter for you, but it does for some...you can end up paying 250£ for a video quality not a lot better than crt tv...+ no info if its hd ready, full hd or some 480p pretending to be hd...
#10
Sure it was 37" and not 32" which Morrisons are advertising at £249?
#11
haven't voted either way but can you lot stop giving the OP a hard time.

better to at least give someone a heads up if they're in the market for a new telly.

have a bit of christmas spirit ya set of humbugs!!!

Not really, if there is no info (or confirmation it is 37" and not 32", let alone the model/make/spec etc), people can't really vote either way can they?!

We've only got a someone who had a "passing glance" so it is a bit miss leading. Without details, we won't know if it's nationwide!!

If you feel the information is sub-standard why do you vote on it? It seems as if you are voting on the 'post' rather than the 'offer'. Its for pathetic reasons like this that good deals & offers get buried in HUKD. Why dont you find something better to do.

I agree with the cold voters. If you are going to put a deal up on here then you can at least have some info about it.
Just saying 37" TV aint really good enough. So i've voted it cold and i could'nt really care less who has a problem with that.

+1 and rep for that mate !

posting that kind of deals is rather pointless...now somebody has to go to Morrisons and verify it...if you saw something by accident and you have no idea about the whole deal - whats the point of posting it ?
#18
Great deal, am off to Morrisons in Bilston so will have a look.

You didnt read the post properly. They didnt just say " 37" TV " . They said 37" TV £250.

Would you like to enlighten us as to where else a new 37" LCD can be had for anything like that price.

Maybe the original poster was not in a position to look further into the deal. But he's alerted other people to the possibility that a good deal may be going down at Morrisons. There are plenty of people on this forum who are more than willing to to check-out this kind of stuff.

What's pointless is your post. Maybe you should get off your backside and go down to Morrisons and give us a full insight into the deal rather than sitting behind a PC flicking keys and passing out negative comments

Disagreeing with someone and explaining the reason why you disagree isn't being negative. I actually agree with Biker Jeff & Rudy691, you wouldn't post "Cat food for £4", and just say saw it at Tesco would you....
#22
I'm going to give the OP some cred.

Going to morrisons later so will make a point of checking it out, which I wouldn't have done otherwise.

Heat added!

I went to Bilston Morrisons and they had no 37" TV's in at all.
They did have this 32" one though for £249

The name on it is Neon, if anyone has heard of it?

The OP didnt say the equivalent of "Cat food for £4". He specified a quantity/size (37") and a price (£249), which your example does not. Oh dear.

And he said the posting was 'pointless', which it wasnt. And thats negative.

Dont let dimwits bury the hot deals. Its happening far too much and far too fast on HUKD nowadays. There's no compulsion to vote HOT or COLD. It's really better not to vote at all on many occassions

I shall vote a deal cold whenever i damn well please and there isn't much you can do about it.... well apart from whining on about it, which no one, least of all me, will care about.

Why dont you vote according to the merits of a deal. Now that would be constructive. If you vote according to the merits of a 'post' rather than an 'offer' it doesnt really say much, and it confuses the message. But I dont expect you to understand that.

And if everyone posted like this all the time, hotukdeals would be a consumer twitter site....:whistling:

I dont think saying something is 'pointless' is as bad as saying people are 'dimwits'. People in glass houses and all that

This deal was useless right from the start. No info about make or model and all the evidence is pointing to the tv being a 32" NOT a 37".
One poster, jenny1979x, has been in the actual store that the op claimed to see a 37" tv, when no such 37" tv was in there at £250.
Useless deal with no proper info, and what little info was posted was wrong. I'd vote it cold again if i could.
