This seems like a good deal to me, which offers one of the best LCD TV brands with a large 37" screen and it's even HD Ready for only £565 including delivery.

The TV starts off as £580 but use the £15 voucher to reduce it down to £565 and delivery is offered free anyway.
Then go through Quidco to receive 2.75% cashback and log in through your Ipoints account to receive a further 2% in points, making this Samsung 37" HD Ready LCD TV only £538.16 including delivery.

Hope that helps. :)

That's less than a week away, so it won't be too long before you receive your new TV. :)

You sure thats not the 32" which is £649 online and the 37" is £799 on John lewis website...

This deal is hot - most sites have the 32" around the £500 mark so a little bit more for the 37" is great...

Yes I'm sure its the 37" :)
Confirmed in previous threads also. (http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=843277)

You can get this TV from JL for £599, cheapest on Net seems to be about £560.
£599 was the Trafford store price last Saturday.
Just phone your local JL store and ask them to price match the Trafford store. I got Bristol JL to PM, they did phone Trafford to check first though.

Well I have just purchased this TV as of Last Saturday from the John Lewis Store in Manchester Cheadle, I also paid £599 with a 5 Year guarantee

I actually emailed the Trafford and Cheadle stores midweek asking them if they would price match the empiredirect stores price which at the time was £619.99. They emailed me back and told me another local store was selling it at £599 so there instore price was actually £599 without a pricematch.

I was well chuffed and ordered straight away, I Went to pick it up Saturday, 20 Mile trip but well worth it

I think its a great TV and a great price, The cheapest on the net is about 570-580 but it doesnt come with the 5 Year Guarantee.

My apologies for doubting you Col :)
In that case get the John Lewis one - its worth it for the 5 year warranty

No problem:)

If your local are trying to sell it for more than £599 just do a pricematch with the Empire Direct price (£599) or even ask them to ring the Trafford store for a pricematch.

Don't think you can beat this for a 37" deal atm :)

That's definitely worth it with 5 years warranty, as i think this store was selling it for £250 but from what i remember when we pricematched the panasonic viera tv before xmas, they charge delivery depending on distance, so this could bump up the price a lot more.

I might get an extra tv though and this may be the one to try. :)

I just bought this from John Lewis last week, it cost me £540. They price matched Empire Direct, £618 plus delivery though(£25). I bought John Lewis vouchers with my MBNA card and saved £60 and when I went into pay I was told that I would have to wait 11 days for delivery to my house but 2 days if I wanted to collect it from the store this I did and they took off the £25 delivery charge. Note the delivery charge is what Empire Direct is charging not JL they just incuded it to do a proper price match.

P.s. thjis TV is great:)

Nothing just slight design difference. Specs are the same

The R88BD models were exclusive to Dixons and Currys, they have the blue glow coming from under the Samsung logo.

I have the 40" and 32" R88BD's and there excellent :D

It's the 5 year warranty from JL that beats everyone, this is worth at least £150
#22
Thanks, I've just ordered 1 for my mum. She will be well chuffed.

I phoned up JL Trafford on Friday to confirm they were still selling the 37" for £599. I then rang my local JL (Edinburgh) and asked if their undersales dept would price match the Trafford JL.
Phoned JL back this morning (Sunday) and they said they would indeed pricematch the Trafford store so Im a very happy bunny.

37" Samsung for £599 + 5 year warranty = A very good deal!
