Awesome price. I really wish I had £400 and no job to go to lol. I did the same a couple of years ago and paid £1300 (it did include a weeks safari though), so this is a bargain.

I'd demand my money back if I did not see that lion! lol
#3
Hey.
I'll give you £400 for your job!

Heat added for the amount of thought that went into that picture.

"Hmmm...what'll depict Kenya's finest points? I know, a lion mauling something to death will do just fine!" :-D

I knew this day would come......ok, sit down.........he's not "mauling that lioness to death", we call this the act of mating, but, there are several very important differences between human beings and animals that you should know about. (Que bloodhound gang song).

Choice of two very good beers - White Cap or Tusker. £400 is worth every single penny of the two week stay and if you have the cash do it.

Get your visa in advance if poss £30 form London or $ only at arrival. Yellow Fever jab recommended along with a couple of others.

Get use to old German men walking with young native girls and coffee coloured babes though

You've just said almost everything i was going to mention apart from the fact that you won't need a lot of spending money as everything seems good value to us due to currency differences.
When i went( flight only) tuskers worked out about 20p and a private beach front bungalow with a maid/cook and a pool was about £30 per week:-D

Google the company. Shocking reviews.

if u go buy your water from outside in the market place, its less than half the price of the hotel..... same with everything....
For safari's and things don't buy from the hotel, its over £100 cheaper if you get it from outside.....
Food isn't the best, its not local african stuff its european pasta, bread, cake, type stuff..... Vege option is very limited.... Luckily you can travel for free between there hotels and the food is slightly different at each one.....

The hotel chain is owned by a swiss owner who has not payed his staff in six months, the beach is covered with "beach boys", basicly its locals trying to sell you things.... they will hound you and pester you and will not leave you alone! for ever one tourist there were 10 beach boys. The hotel staff are amazing and really put the effort in but nothing comes for free, you will tip for everything, so 80% of you spending money will be used on tips. The showered don't provide any hot water and the electricity cuts off every day! they towels stink of urine and the bed sheets never get changed. I was there two weeks and i came back to the UK tired, broke, miserable and very disappointed.
The food was terrible so if you do go , budget for eating out allot! i recommend a bar called the "safari inn"
and prepare to very very ill! Every couple we met experienced some sort of stomach problem.

please understand when reading my comments that i am very opened minded and i have been to several african countries and understand that third world countries will not always meet first class expectations....

but this holiday was terrible and a waist of money!

I've heard the same. Travelzoo always get them on their top 20 every couple of weeks - they must be on some sort of commission deal with ASC.

Wow, the reviews of this company are awful; really awful.
Personally, I would pay a little extra and go with a reputable organisation.

Came back from this holiday package yesterday. Stayed at Flamingo Beach Hotel, and I wouldn't listen to anybody on this forum! The hotel was top, and food was good. For what I paid, I will never complain and will go back next year if this deal is back! I didn't have any injections, took the risk, however Malaria spreads mainly around the Summer season from November onwards. Its true that the staff ain't been paid for 7 months, which is pretty bad. Overall, i loved the holiday, and i love the country and people.

What other holiday companies that do Kenya are recommended?

Thanks,

J
